Nat Grid Electricity Expensive ----- With the price of electricity set to rise after Centricas' announcement today by 12.5% battery cars are going to be very expensive to fuel when compared to H2 gas whose cost base once derived from reneweables has been forecast to be just $3:50 USD/ Kilo. The scene going forward is an elegant solution for transport and traditional energy production that could sideline electricity producers and battery cars.

The longer term way ahead for transport is proving to become H2, fuel cell powered as trucks, trains and cars start to become main stream....battery and fossil fuel transports will become a footnote of transportation history.

The latest Tesla model 3 was launched yesterday --- it only has a range of 210 miles costing $33,000 USD. Whereas most H2 fuel cell cars have a range of 350-400 miles with far more power to weight making them a lot lighter and a more efficient way to store and convert energy into electricity to power cars.

It was good to learn IEH had more cash in the bank than previously estimated - 13 million and they sounded optimistic about demand for their products.

This is forum where any positive not negative both has to be posted with proper logic and study, not just to counter other. Positive and negative both will be helpful in either ways and it's part of risk management. Risk manager rather should think negative first. If any body has some info about what positives are happening being the curtain may please be posted for benefit of all. My 6th sense says that it is not the time of wind up especially in EU, Japan and Us market. But I belong to Asia and here India is the growing market which turning positive towards BEV not FCEV. But India is good copy master and eventually it may jump on FCEV if they find real sense by looking at other developed countries. As on today, Asian government are integrating grid to vehicle strategy which is nothing but BEV.

Yes I have a large stake in IEH and firmly beleive this company have a great product / products ready for the market and will turn into a no1 world competitor in producing hydrogen batteries and power units I can't understand why your invested here ?? Every post you submit is so negative IBUG is constantly researching news and good information about the company and does not post false information but you just come across as a pessimistic clown who has to reply to every post IBUG submitted with a negative that has no real significance and is just boring ?? I know all about the company's past and as prob most other investors here do !! They nearly went bankrupt borrowed money at a poor rate and could be taken over if the company they borrowed off decided to sell there shares / warrants ?? But they have restructured the comp and a lot of positives are happening for the company so bloody lighten up stop being so glum or sell up and go invest in AFC energy that share will really give you something to moan about

@stepehnsilverfox I am invested in this share. Are you? I had a sizeable (for me) holding but moved out of it when the Annual Report stated 'funding was uncertain' and market conditions are uncertain. I then moved back in when the share price seemed to support a more positive outlook for this company.

I've filtered that particular poster you mentioned anyway as they post a lot of repetitive information which is often out of date, the company has changed substantially in the past 2 years.

The future for the company is unclear, which is reflected in the share price and can be seen by all in the balance sheet. The company itself even stated this in it's accounts. Of course it is attempting to do as much as it can to avoid 'running out of money' but sometimes this is unavoidable. There should be more information coming out of the company soon - I'm not sure if they are going to have another Investor and Analyst day - they did so in September last year. I would recommend that you attend that event if you are interested in the company. It was an eye opener.

Here is an extract from a June 30th published article in the Leicester Mercury:

Looking ahead, the company said: “The group continues to focus on progressing fuel cell product sales from the conversion of sales pipeline opportunities.

“The strengthening of the commercial team on a regional basis over the last year is having a positive impact and further positive developments continue to be expected.

“The exact scale, timing and margin profile of opportunities that are converted to signed contracts is, however by its nature, uncertain.”

Overall, IE continues to believe that it possesses the technology and capability and is able to produce product at the required price points to scale the business.

The company said: “IE also believes that it possesses industry leading technology with respect to power per unit weight and power per unit volume. Furthermore, the presence of in-house manufacturing capacity also means that IE can produce at volume, without incurring significant incremental capex costs, to scale through to free cashflow positive which is envisaged to take place over the next two years.

“Critically IE also believes that the requisite level of demand exists for its products.”

IEH are in the lower power stationary and portable market sectors to its peers. That news is recent and offers new insights into the prospects of the business. Cash burn is falling on the back of new business so the cash in the bank will last longer than previously estimated. And the business is busy negotiating new business as fuel cells replace diesel applications.

U won't find jewels by digging old stuff. No cash after December... Diesel ban is good news for clean fuel industry but how ieh can take advantage of this?? Plug power, ITM power, Ballard power making progress and making deal with big and recogised player but so far ieh is not able to do so.

Interesting article in the Leicester Mercury

"It also reported an increase in cash in the bank from £9.7 million to £13 million for the period, in line with forecasts."

An increase in cash in the bank!

Why hasn't that been mentioned anywhere else?

'My next car will be electric,' says oil giant Shell's boss

"The whole move to electrify the economy, electrify mobility in places like northwest Europe, in the US, even in China, is a good thing. We need to be at a much higher degree of electric vehicle penetration - or hydrogen vehicles or gas vehicles - if we want to stay within the 2-degrees Celsius (or 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit) outcome."

van Beurden added: "If policies and innovation really work well, I can see liquids peaking in demand in the early 2030s and maybe oil will peak a little bit earlier if there's a lot of biofuels coming into the mix as well."

AFTER STUDYING THE PATENT APPLICATION IT LOOKS TO BE VERY SIMILAR and most likely the same device with an improved performance and perhaps electronics as a mark #2 version that is market ready.

None the less that device is a great idea that has a wide bandwidth of applications.
