19/11/2014 08:32 | BIOG going to Infinity and beyond. | philo124
13/11/2014 20:19 | It's because they changed the manager and bought stocks in line with BIOG which trade at a premium to NAV. Despite my broker's reservations I accumulated IBT when at large discount to NAV-25%+ and it paid off. I sold a third recently as it was my largest holding in my portfolio. I return to UK tomorrow and might sell some BIOG where my initial purchase was at £1. I also hold WWH but I don't hold the tranche that I bought at 336p when Clinton was President. Tech and Bio Tech is the future but both sectors are prone to crashing now and again so I have taken £20k off the table if I sell a bit of BIOG tomorrow. | philo124
13/11/2014 18:38 | Amazing rally - up 30% in the last month and during that time I reckon the price has gapped up 10 times (clear gaps). Unbelievable strength - and still at an 11.6% discount to the NAV! Any weakness and I am topping up. | gargleblaster
13/11/2014 13:54 | NAV 455P, thru £4. | philo124
03/11/2014 19:08 | Sold 1/3 of SIPP. | philo124
03/11/2014 08:10 | Annual report rns; good read, doesn't take that long. | philo124
01/11/2014 15:15 | Can't argue with you Phil probably makes sense to take some money off the table- definite long-termer for me though. | gargleblaster
31/10/2014 22:34 | Well this was at 25% discount for yonks and I can't see this going less than 10% as for BIOG, they could go to a premium and have a buy back mandate in place if discount widens to more than 8%?? I think from memory. Still hold £25k worth after sell today. If you were trading this stock then now won't be a bad time to sell. longer term holder? Don't sell. | philo124
31/10/2014 16:23 | I won't sell until they at least trade at a premium to NAV. There was always due to be a feeding frenzy for Biotech stocks (and has been in the past), and when UK investors cotton on that there are only a few Investment Trusts available the discount will disappear. When is goes to a premium then time to sell and go into a Unit Trust - e.g. Axa Biotech Trust imho. | gargleblaster
31/10/2014 15:34 | Overtime, in line with biotech growth, there will be setbacks but long term hold in SIPP. I bought BIOG at £1 now £6. | philo124
31/10/2014 09:58 | How far do you think they have to go Phil? | timben
31/10/2014 09:04 | Sold 20% of total holding, trading a/c holding. Rest 80% held in SIPP. Discount to NAV has halved. | philo124
30/10/2014 21:09 | 1mill buyback. | philo124
29/10/2014 08:07 | My target is when their discount to NAV falls to 12.5%. | philo124
29/10/2014 07:43 | What is the target for IBT? | timben
27/10/2014 16:34 | I feel vindicated, at the moment. Also BIOG. | philo124
12/9/2014 17:38 | Added today. Buy backs soon. | philo124
09/9/2014 11:44 | NAV over £4! | philo124
30/8/2014 16:20 | I read IBT's report and accounts and it looked to me they were moving more towards BIOG type holdings. | philo124
29/8/2014 17:32 | I think it's because the NAV goes up more slowly - seems to be just as risky as BIOG without the upside. Pure discount play IMO | bigwilly1986
27/8/2014 18:03 | Anyone know why this trades at a 30% discount to NAV? Compared to BIOG which is nearly at NAV. | dangreen86
20/8/2014 09:53 | 25% Discount to NAV. | philo124
30/6/2014 18:21 | A lot further to go imo. | philo124
23/5/2014 16:37 | On the mend. | philo124 |
