16/1/2007 11:41 | Poorly covered it seems - very few posts about this co. Must admit it seems difficult to find any broker coverage etc. So why bother? Well I almost bought a couple of years ago and wish i had - now its on the rise big time - or so it would appear. Also Man Group has been my biggest holding for years and they bought a holding in this - I know they only invest after a good amount of due diligence etc re the quality of investment approach etc. To an extent anything they touch has a habit of turning to gold - so I'm happy to back their expert judgement. Anyway enough said, any views or broker info much appreciated. | its the oxman

14/2/2005 15:06 | yes i believe they are a excellent team and well motivated through their shareholdings.funds are performing well both organically and through new subscriptions.i believe the co moves strongly into profit this year and is very overlooked.think the only research is from evo [shop] and pretty out of date.[by the way tread title international asset man. should be integrated asset man.].quite likely larger group could want to have a go at them at these levels but unlikely the management would accept anything down here. | bubface
14/2/2005 07:53 | bubface - sold mine in mid seventies for a quick profit. Is management capable of running a profitable/growth business. regards | targatarga
11/2/2005 18:56 | a bit of a quiet site. love the company met the management.bought just under declarable around 45p now it's all gone hush.they've raised some money on the qt..not that happy since they told me they didn't want to dilute..but it does give them a nice balance sheet.mini man group for anyone thats interested still think 150p 12 months out.be interested if anyone else is following otherwise might set up a new thread. | bubface
06/5/2004 14:32 | more life on mars than here me thinks. | targatarga
26/2/2004 17:40 | They are upto $450m of assets under management up from $330m 6 months ago. There income from management and performance fees must be up and from looking back at the interims they should be able to make a profit in the 2nd half of the year. Hedge Funds are a massively growing area and charge huge fees so if this company can continue to grow its assets the profits should start rolling in. It looks cheap on a maket cap of £5m Does anyone have any brokers forecasts?? | the shuffle man
26/2/2004 13:10 | I note that Directors have bought shares around the 47p mark last August, and at least one has options at above current price. | opthalmist |
