11/2/2008 16:41 | We can but hope CR. (Jittery 'scarper' though perhaps) | 801710245
11/2/2008 15:28 | Most of the jittery scalper types out now I'd say - reckon these will get chased up sharp on another leg up before the week's out. CR | cockneyrebel
10/2/2008 18:39 | Any mention in any of the papers today? | 801710245
08/2/2008 23:00 | Interest maybe building as Instore sales will probably increase as economic environment deteriorates almost a defensive retail stock. Additionally changes being made since October are now hopefully beginning to pay dividends. You don't need a vast improvement for the price to increase quickly given its low rating.Hopefully some press comment during the weekend.Looking to hold until results but DYOR. | profiting
08/2/2008 20:16 | After lunch today, the price settled at 10.5/10.75 and held steady despite 240k sold v only 15k bought. I would have thought this bodes well for Monday. The share is probably too much of a tiddler to attract much press comment though... | wwjjp00
08/2/2008 19:50 | Littlemadam - may I refer you to thr earlier posts. | 801710245
08/2/2008 18:12 | doesn't anyone holding 30% or more have to make a bid for a company? | littlemadam
08/2/2008 16:51 | Lauders - I think there are buyers around for volume if profit takers are going to sell. 120K sell at the close, taken on the chin by the mm's. Give me a nudge if the chart turns up in ISG in case I miss it. CR | cockneyrebel
08/2/2008 15:02 | holding up well last 3 hours,100k sells @ 10.5p,if some more buys go through share price should start going up again. | myamay16
08/2/2008 12:32 | Cheers CR. I was actually thinking of short-term punters who bought in at say 7p in volume and may be getting ready to cash in something in these markets. I know the spread might not make that too likely, but still.... I am also watching ISG for a change in sentiment. Nothing wrong with their activities and not only UK based, as is their strategy. | lauders
08/2/2008 12:24 | These were 65p a couple of years ago Lauders - tough to buy. If anyone takes profits down here they struggle to buy back and will have to soak a chunky spread imo. One blink, the price rattles away and you don't get a chance to buy back, or even buy in for the first time. Too illiquid to trad eimo. I'll be holding - I remember buying bombed out stuff in March 03 and scalping 30% or so - big mistake, I should hav ejust kept hold and multi-bagged them ISG - I'll wait for the chart to turn I think - falling knives and all that. VOG worth watching, something going on there imo - much more liquid if you want to trade. CR | cockneyrebel
08/2/2008 11:43 | hope your right cr sqeaked in am at 9.5 but how far? | lawson27
08/2/2008 11:29 | Don't you think profit-takers will be around soon CR? Might have a chance to get in lower if they appear. Well done anyway. By the way any interest in ISG now? Must have dropped too far! | lauders
08/2/2008 11:22 | De-Lish :-) Reckon there's loads more here yet too :-) CR | cockneyrebel
07/2/2008 21:21 | Yep, my thought exactly. I don't know about bids, I doubt there's a bid. What I do know is a lot of long term shareholders in AIM have been selling down before April 6 and the reduced CGT taper relief so a lot of AIM stocks have got excessively low. I bet there are some muppets taking big hits on large sales so as to get out before April 6. Directors buying 6-8 weeks before results is usually a good flag to buy too, and hold till the results with them, it's what I'm doing. CR | cockneyrebel
07/2/2008 21:12 | What is also interesting is that the Director's buys are ahead of the results and before their close period which intimates that they are confident of forthcoming results. We will see but happy to be holding.DYOR | profiting
07/2/2008 16:35 | Not sure of the rules but usually if you go over 30% you are obliged to bid. I think there are certain conditions where that isn't so, not totally au-fait with them tho. Either way it's a pretty interesting development. Someone is trying to pick up 300K @ 8.8p on the book CR | cockneyrebel
07/2/2008 16:18 | cr...yes, what are the rules re when u go above 30%....does he have to bid/go mbo ? | abcd1234
07/2/2008 16:09 | As I thought on the 5th, large instituition getting out at the bottom & Directors buying ahead of recovery !!!! Maybe a de-listing at 20 -25 pence in the next 12 months | grollfam
07/2/2008 16:09 | How does this Tayub guy stand taking his holding over 30%? You usually are obliged to make a bid if you go over 30%, aside from certain conditions. CR | cockneyrebel
07/2/2008 15:45 | Offer now back up just over 8p. Finals towards end of this month. | myamay16
07/2/2008 14:17 | Very large director buys in the millions, on a low. CR | cockneyrebel
05/2/2008 22:11 | If it's directors buying, why did Abdul Aziz's purchase of 50,000 shares on 24th Jan (some £3,500's worth), merit an RNS - why no RNS today? Days on end can pass without a single share traded - then this flurry of activity and a modest move up. Interesteing. Jim. | 801710245 |
