Inspiration Healthcare Group plc (AIM: IHC), the global medical device company, is delighted to announce that the new Inspire rPAP(TM), a unique resuscitation and stabilisation system, and an enhanced version of the LifeStart neonatal resuscitation unit will be showcased for the first time at MEDICA, the world's leading trade fair for the medical industry in Düsseldorf which is taking place between 14 - 17 November 2016.

The Inspire rPAP(TM) is the first medical device which has been entirely developed in-house by Inspiration Healthcare and consists of an rPAP Generator and a newly introduced rPAP Driver unit which regulates air flow and pressure entering into the rPAP Generator resuscitation device. The system was extremely well received when it was first introduced to a selection of Inspiration Healthcare's European distributors in September 2016 and it is now expected that sales of the Inspire rPAP will grow across all major European markets as well as other countries around the world.

Also being exhibited for the first time is an enhanced version of the LifeStart which combines resuscitation and patient warming with the capability to clamp the cord at the optimal time, and now includes the ability to secure air and oxygen bottles and a sterile drape for use in theatre. The Inspire rPAP completely integrates with the LifeStart and the combination of the two products will help deliver the best possible outcome for newborn babies.

I think the company is certainly going in the right direction. How well attended was the presentation ? I could not attend unfortunately.

Maybe share price had run away with itself, however if I took profits every time results were not up market expectations I'd have very few small caps left.

Co still needs time to develop strategy and integrate.

However disconcerting to see paper profits dwindle away.

I am surprised to see the market's reaction. The results looked reasonable, even good, to me. Anyone got any explanation for the fall? Were expectations higher?

PS. On closer study of the results, I think perhaps the share price was getting a bit ahead of events. I'll continue to hold.

Good results delivered here this morning and especially pleasing is the continued growth in their own product range...

Our own brand products now account for 46% (2015: 45%) of group turnover. As we continue to develop our own products and expand our footprint internationally we expect that our own branded products will be a larger contributor to turnover and profit in the future.

Less than 2 months to get the results out. Excellent performance and a good example to many other small caps.It also bodes well for the current year numbers and expectations for the year ahead.

I didn't count but most of the seats were taken and everyone was made to feel welcome. The presentations went down well and lots of questions, so it was well worth while attending. When IHC came on I told Roger H sat next to me these guys are ones to watch.

They gave a good presentation last night at the Leeds Sharesoc event and provided everyone a great insight into the business together with the company history.

IHC have joined the line up for the Leeds event so do all try to get along and take an investor friend as there is a really interesting line up of companies...
