Well, looks like the traders are largely done now and they have moved on - lots of talk about people buying, when in fact there have clearly been sellers who have taken their 10% or so and moved on.

Now I patiently wait for IDP to prove itself in this Half as the H1 numbers didnt really include any profit (or loss) figures.

Time for Mgt to deliver - anyone know if any video interview was done at all or not?

Think I put my update on the wrong thread. Have to admit I have never understood the correlation between holidaying and tanning! Do you not go to get the tan! Lol. That said agree entirely that it's a strong correlation. Also very glad to see the Amazon side of the business growing strongly

Not just travel industry, limited social interactions too. No xmas parties which is where a key amount of H1 business was being gained.

With easing of covid restrictions in H2, travel industry opening up all coupled with targetting of additional new 18-30 year old market and Liberty Poole as brand ambassador (1.5m Insta followers who will appear on Dancing on Ice which has 5 to 6m viewers), its looking pretty prospective I'd say.

Remember how bad the travel industry has been this last year and still the figures are impressive. When things get back to normal SUMMER arrives, and the new marketing gets a hold, the sale of Skinny Tan will soar, followed by the shares !!!

Nice trading update.

No messing about from this new Mgt - costs down, margins up, loss making revs gone, revs for H1 =£3.7m. (iwas happy with £3.5m)

On track to hit £10m revs but should now be profitable, MCAP only £11m = opportunity!

Amazon of growing importance is the takeaway from this update. Not sure there is a huge amount of new information contained. Omicron has knocked them but effects not quantified.

two trades today - both buys. Next buy or two ticks this back up me thinks.

Dancing on Ice starts this week with Liberty Poole in it - I assume IDP will be doing promos with her at same time to capitalise. Might help - Dancing on Ice has 5 to 6 m viewers and Liberty has 1.5m followers. Remember IDP are now also targetting younger age group.

Liberty Poole:

- is signed to promote SkinnyTan
- has 1.5m Insta followers
- in Dancing on Ice - starts 14th Jan thru to Mar

IDP:
- have New products coming
- Peak tanning season starts in Mar

Smart move by IDP to marry Liberty Poole promo to Skinny Tan and target the new younger age group too.

IDP MCap is £11m, with revs of £10m expected and for that £10 revs to now turn profitable.

Witnessing the slow motion retraction of the share price here. Just as ai announced. Sold out my positon yesterday as its a dog of a share and I knew once the ramping brigade had arrived, it will push the share price up enough for some of us to take profits and exit this dog. Keep ramping. This isnt going nowhere

Very decent volume yesterday and good to see it find solid support at 40p and come back. My guess is that we had profit takers from the rise up and from the placing too. With the volume we've had in recent days I would not be surprised to see a TR1.

So, Jan and this year in fact, should be a very solid year here. I'm already expecting some further exposure here which should get IDP and Skinny Tan 'out there'.

Fairly big sells keep coming in to knock the price back. This must be the last few profit takers from the last placing who have held longer than they expected imho of course. Any serious good news on the profit front should see the shares seriously rerate !!

Yep.. they nudged it up but still 10k limit. Gonna get very interesting when a few more big hitters start taking an interest.. the stock is simply not there and that is why this one can really shift.
