KEMCHE - Unusually for me ,I took a punt on IMM ,being fully aware of the risks involved. However, I rightly imposed a nice tight stop loss so although I "lost" a few bob" it was not the end of the world and this loss has been made up many times since then.

KEMCHE - Thanks for confirming what I already know! Generally I do very well with my investments but IDP was somewhat of a one-off because of the lack of shares in circulation. In some ways I wish I had never heard of IDP but I have learned a lot from "the experience" I have in no way lost faith in the company . Things will come good eventually but in the meantime its share price is not being allowed to have a mind of its own. Lots of people ( including yourself,no doubt) have made lots of money out of shorting it ! .I consider myself to be an investor and for that reason I don,t do shorting!

P S Do yourself a favour and buy yourself a few FILTRONIC shares .It is still not too late IMO as the best is still to come and therefore it is still possible for peops to get in on the ground floor.

Well yes the chairman did so much damage with his last pump and dump. Still say that proactive interview was a disgrace.
Glad you're out at a higher level teddy and agree trading these is better than investing.

A lot of the proceeds from the proceeds of my IDP holding have gone into FILTRONIC as I believe that this is a company which is on the brink of landing some very large orders.Also,as there are lots of shares in circulation I do not have to worry about it being shorted. Life is so much simpler!

Believe what you like but I now hold ZERO shares in IDP. ! This share is just too frustrating > I will be back in and out but from now until the company has managed to convince the doubters I shall not be back in permanently.I shall be "following the curves" Buying when the price has been taken right down and then selling at or near the top.This is not a precise science but the fact that our band of shorters have ,within the space of a few weeks, taken the price down from around 150p to around 80P (with perhaps more to come) suggests to me that there is a lot of mileage in using this strategy. With most shares you do your homework ,buy some shares and hang on in there but normal investing just does not work with IDP at this stage of their development.

Yeah stop me if you think that you've heard this one before! "last 2 weeks" ha ha ha ha ha and now he tells us, even though he has been posting like the deranged nutter he is for that entire 2 weeks?

Using logic and reason he has called it so consistently wrong that this may be a great indicator that the share will turn. added to my monitor..LOL

I have been out of IDP for a couple of weeks now as I am not prepared to see the share price milked useless by endless shorting. Even Ken Chung has the audacity to post "a fine short" which is really taking the mickey out of us real investors. However, I shall be watching very carefully for any good news or updates which will be their cue to close their shorts and buy in in a big way to force the price upwards AFAP at which time a new round of shorting will begin. This is the point that I will be selling .

This I shall repeat until such times as the company can demonstrate that it is ahead of the game which I am still very confident will happen eventually.

I do not like doing this(it goes against my principles) but all the time this share is being endlessly shorted the share price will keep being seriously eroded .

This share is so frustrating but it does not have to be.! Left to its own devices it would behave normally. ROLL ON THAT DAY!

"Turnover is vanity - Profit is sanity" Retail is under the cosh at the moment - Being out spent/out promoted (imo) by the big boys - So share price may well continue to fall.

Next trading update will be very interesting.. positive and this will rise, significantly probably at current share price . but poor and it's sub 50p imo, maybe worse....
