Hate to break it to you teddy but you don't come across as that bright either.
"Worked down" yes right by 1 million shares pumped and dumped by your chairman.

edited to add you need to learn you speak for yourself only on the forum here. There is no "we" peeps who post that are imo either emotionally very weak or worse trying to tell others what to think. Both are dangerous to your wealth.

Nothing to do with V shaped recoveries or double bottoms! It all depends on how much further this share can be "worked down"
However at least we can be assured that if we are patient the bottom WIIL be reached and then it is just a matter of time before the share price will be "worked up" again all ready for the next shorting session! WE ARE NOT STUPID!

Looks like the v shaped recoveries gone a bit pear shaped. Double bottom here or retest of the previous 72p low imo which was Dec 2016 so would be quite a disappointing move for a "growth stock."

Dumping this stock on the back of that lousy update, while the shareprice was still in triple figures, was an obvious, albeit slightly painful decision for me. Sorry Teddy my old chum, there is no conspiracy against you. Only the fact that a company which was once growing at an impressive rate now shows no evidence of growth. There is no more to it than that.

JOHN09 and LODGEVIEW You two are NOT fooling anybody .You only appear on this forum when you have a job to do! i. e. help the shorting syndicate get the price down as far as possible!

IDP is a PETRFECTLY GOOD company with excellent prospects and it had had not been for the" interference ",time and time again, by you lot the share price would be at a REALISTIC level -in other words -much higher .YOU REALLY ARE THE SCUM OF THE EARTH!

Something is afoot at the minute! When I tried an imaginary sale of just £500 I was told that it would have to be done electronically!

Any ideas?

RAWNSLEY- IMO Boots and Tescos are more than capable of taking up the slack and then adding big numbers on top, come the next company year.SUPERDRUG have never been in the same league as Boots and Tescos and probably never will be. Once customers latch on to the fact that ST and Roots are readily available in these stores (as and when) they will get into the habit of purchasing them and hopefully many repeat orders will follow. On top of this we will all the on-line sales which will not be insignificant.

Like most others on here ,I will be more than happy if the projected sales are achieved for the rest of this company year.
After that ,we should really start to motor!

The trouble with IDP is that they have "disappointed " a couple of times in the past year and hence investors and potential investors are slightly more cautious than normal (human nature!)

However ,no way are we comparing like with like! The ball game has changed dramatically and the potential for huge sales are staring us in the face.

If the company can do all the right things in the next 12 months or so there are going to be a lot of very happy shareholders around. After all, this is what we have all dream,t about!

How's the shelf space and positioning Doc?

I must admit, my confidence has been knocked somewhat by the H1 sales being flat. This was below the expectations I had. While justifications can be mentioned in relation to SD and Skinny Tan, it means Tesco's ST is going to have to absorb the loss from SD first, before it starts adding to the revenue, and, assuming Roots is still growing, the ST H1 is on track to be considerably down, perhaps 20%.

Also, 50% of the sales are DTC, so we could be circa 50% down in Superdrug for ST v 2017 H1, which is considerable.

However, I would suspect they have a forecast from Boots for ST, with fairly accurate predictability due to the Boots Ireland data they can draw from. So this brings some confidence back, as it will have given both IDP and Boots a good revenue indicator. Still, only 3 months of ST for 2018, means it will be squeaky bum time.

I'm interested to hear about Roots in Boots in the H1 results, as it's still around rank 200 online, which doesn't fill me with huge confidence, along with it not impacting sales enough to offset any ST decreases, suggests it's a positive, but minimal revenue impactor for now.

I wasn't tipping CRL. I don't hold. It's just a well run company which doesn't RNS much and let's it's results do the talking. Watch the piworld presentations by CRL and learn about the market that IDP is trying to capture. They have different target buyers but it's the same market space - health and beauty. Land grabbing new store space is not always the way to go. The top 100 Boots stores will put the bottom 500 . GLA.
