Kenmitch. That's the first time I've ever given an indication of my stake in any share but what's done is done. It started as a speculative punt at the end of 2016 and as they made visible progress I added more. I'm constantly re-evaluating but at the same time am content to wait a couple more years. They're seriously undervalued at this price but we'll have to wait for the final figures to find out by how much. I'm not worried about profits at this stage as they're reinvesting in growth. Still early days but the signs so far are very good. Bit of a rushed response I'm afraid but other things beckon. All imo !!

Just to correct a few misconceptions out there:

The company does not sell tablets from Bangladesh.


"Some potentially exciting products but will customers buy?
Too early to know. Skinny Tan might be a fad." - In the year to end June 2017 they sold circa £9m of the fad.

"Always on 3 for 2 offer in Superdrug and so hidden away it is often hard to find." - And that is why it is the largest selling tanning range in Superdrug.

"If/when it's clear profits are rising fast the share price will take off." - They have diversified the product range to include a host of others to address exactly that concern.

gimme - Prolong is for PE and NOT ED.

Even the most cursory research should help.


But otherwise I agree wholeheartedly - it is all too terrible for words.

I couldn't believe it when you wrote that you are £100,000 down. That's a huge amount to stake in a speculative share unless you are extremely wealthy, and if the latter there are better causes than IDP to donate money to.

IDP is at best a fun punt. Some potentially exciting products but will customers buy?
Too early to know. Skinny Tan might be a fad. Always on 3 for 2 offer in Superdrug and so hidden away it is often hard to find.

So far updates have been very strong on hype and very weak on what matters, profits. If/when it's clear profits are rising fast the share price will take off. BUT if, as is a distinct possibility, it all ends in tears, will you still be feeling relaxed?

There are a lot of far better quality companies than IDP to invest in, with as much or more upside, and far far less risk.

Jovi. I think there's a good chance you'll hit all your sell targets in the next 6 to 8 months. With the uncertainty of year end revenues I think this is currently worth £3....if revenues are the same as last year's. Haris, who I've found to be very honest so far if a little over-enthusiastic on occasions, said revenues likely to be substantially over last year's figures but with a similar net profit. I'm well over £100k down but very relaxed. I don't mind some slow burning so long as the company maintains annual growth but Innovaderma are still in their infancy stage. Occasional stumbles are to be expected and given that the reason for the current one is a poor retail year that couldn't be foreseen and has had a knock-on affect on suppliers I don't believe Haris can be blamed. It was announced as soon as he was aware, which was early into the second half and could well be a nice surprise [going by the current sp] when the figures are totted up. Haris is good at spotting good products and remarketing them, so far proved on the first two brands. There's a lot more ahead but it's going to take time, something many modern investors are uncomfortable with.

Teddy I am not suggesting you but when the price are interfered with is time to buy not sell
I don't have your great view of this company because I think the director is inexperienced and mostly inconsistent communicator and that scare shareholder
I am in this and I have experienced this ups and down on many occasions with Idp
I now have a trading stock already set for sale at 173 195 222 275 up to 500 and some that I keep all the time
Already sold and got crack in it few times and that is crazy considering how long this company has been trading

beetroot -You are no more in the know than ANYONE ELSE . IDP is a great little outfit who are good at marketing and there are a hundred reasons why the share price should be on the rise but IT IS BEING SEVERELY INTERFERED WITH!

Lol bmcb im no danger. But Investors who cant make up their own minds are a danger to theirselves. Desperate im not. A Ramper. depends what you mean by that. Ive been here for 12 months up and down i go with Idp. its fun for me bmcb5 but you well. You stuck a Teddy bear 5 after your handle. IE alaimaison 5, teddy Boy 1, bmcb5 Etc Etc.
