Popped into my local Superdrug in Leamington Spa. Roots continue to be prominently displayed on the top shelf at a good eye-line. There is still no extreme clean range which annoys me. There were only a few items left in the row for each product with the remaining items at the front of the row. This indicates to me that the items are selling well and when I asked the shop assistant she said some people are coming in specifically asking for Roots.
By contrast the Alpecin range is lower down with less shelf space but more importantly there was not a single gap in the rows - each row completely untouched.

I looked at the Skinny Tan range and there gaps the rows there as well. But so was there for St Tropez - so it looks as though people are self tanning quite a lot even in the off season.

imo post 11659 above says all you may need to know - there used to be a saying that "You can fool some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time " or to put it another way "You cannot BS people forever. In the end the products will be exposed – good or bad!"

Jesse was very keen to move into the travel sector.Getting a presence in airport hubs , travel corridors. He mentioned the example of a beauty retailer in one airport taking 180 million dollars a year. Lots and lots of footfall

Croasdalelfc - with his background you would think that Jesse Porto must know a lot of influential people in the beauty market. It's only a matter of time before a major American deal gets announced.

Superdrug is a dump of a shop. Its a large depository for poor quality magic cosmetic Junk. A balding man could never be-LIE-ve a bottle of liquid would grow his hair back, its just not possible. Its the holy grail, new hair growth for baldness,it is the HOLY GRAIL because it is, scientifically impossible.

So If Roots cannot work and being fat means one eats to much, how can rubbing Skinny Tan on your skin remove Blubber? It can't so its just a Fake Tan.

Until this board gets it, Choudry will still be Hailed as your Messiah, he is not.

He is a Snake oil salesman. Till he proves he is not. ASA said he was. He says we have tests that show Skinny Tan hides Blubber, i say only thing that hides Blubber is eating less Food. Skinny Tan was Selling Illusions to the Fatties. This is Why ASA SAID, NO WAY Choudry.

About time he came clean with a PROPER TRADING update, facts and Figures.. Then we will know if The Faithful are Correct and its a Bumper Profit coming or "The Egregore" Is correct. That being its all Smoke and Mirrors and More Dilution coming.OK?

I want bumper Profits, yet its not looking likely.OK?

There may well be over 100 shampoos in Superdrug but how many have a USP of hair growth - hardly any. This is the market Roots is targeting and makes it stand out from the other shampoos. The market for hair loss products for men and women is enormous and explains the growing popularity of the product. The only thing that surprised me is that HC initially doubted its potential but that's probably more to do with fact he has a full head of hair - at the moment!

How long can the AGONY be PROLONGED? IDP could very well drift to £1 by Xmas. Not sure i would Buy more then.

Why is no one buying the stock?

Its trading at just £2. There is much anxiety over IDP. Holders are Selling, no buyers and fainthearted posts attempting to pretend all is well.

DTC sales reported at only £700 yesterday x 365= Not a lot aka under £300K TURNOVER, not profit PA. Not enough to pay one directors salary.

I still hold but its a Shocking performance to date. Only Evidence IDP will show a £5 Mill profit for full year 2018 will get this back to £4.OK?

50 prolong units sold at £200 each per day equals £3.65m per year in sales.

One magnificent article could make this happen. Advertising in mens magazines might makes this happen.

I was a bit anti the gagets but now i'm not so sure. They do wiff a bit of snake oil but if 18,250 men (or their wives) buy one next year then thats the £3.6m in sales.

We just need a team that can bring things to market and create a buzz without breaking the bank... oh wait a minute.. :)
