16/11/2017 09:51 | You are correct in that you would expect share prices to drift in the absence of any good new news. However the IDP share price is not "drifting"!It is being worked down alarmingly, almost on a daily basis.O K,you could understand if it was by 1 or 2 percent a day ,but in a slow market there is no reason on earth for 6 or 7 per cent reductions! Every few days when the M Ms have accumulated enough shares they will let us a "good" day but the share price will not regain the previous few days losses. For those who believe in share patterns we definitely have one here. The IDP share price is definitely being MANIPULATED! | teddy boy1

16/11/2017 08:09 | £750 sales on the roots DTC platform yesterday. | boonboon
15/11/2017 22:24 | I'm slightly less optimistic for the first half and expect anywhere from £4.5 million to £6 million. I also expect costs to be higher than previously as they are spending money on new staff and pre-launch activities.Having said that I'm more optimistic for the second half of the year.I'm in for the long term on these so not too bothered about timings. | boonboon
15/11/2017 22:13 | Ihate 2x prospective sales... and no debt! | thelongandtheshortandthetall
15/11/2017 22:00 | Spot on ihm. | fardistanthills
15/11/2017 15:25 | Me too. This is the wrong price. | mannymif
15/11/2017 15:07 | Someone mentioned the other day about having the stomach to hold onto shares during these inevitable declines in the share price. Its hard to do but it is the way to make gains in the stock market. Is the business behind the share price growing... yes. | thelongandtheshortandthetall
15/11/2017 14:59 | Topped up. | thelongandtheshortandthetall
15/11/2017 14:59 | I'm definitely expecting a significant second half weighting as already indicated numerous times by IDP.The second half includes the peak tanning season and the launch of numerous brands, a full half year from Roots with an increase in store numbers as well. | boonboon
15/11/2017 14:54 | There was NO trading update last year until January and guess what - sales were up 125% in HI last year. As the company has updated us that everything is fine at the AGM last week we probably won't get a trading update until Jan again. | ihatemms
15/11/2017 14:50 | Guess h1 will be awful if HC is affraid to release proper trading update. | mudis
15/11/2017 14:12 | 205p to buy had to take a chance at that price...even for a trade | dave4545
15/11/2017 13:53 | Good and bad news.... The good news is that there is nothing wrong with the company and it is going from strength to strength. New products, in demand, new retail outlets, new markets....whats not to like? The bad news is that the share price is currently lacking support and therefore every little drift lower results in more sells and you get this slow decline. This will not last forever, however when you are in the middle of it, that is cold comfort I appreciate. | molatovkid
15/11/2017 13:27 | Northwards it's only 18x this year's earnings and 12x next. 2.10/11.7eps = circa 18 2.10/18eps = circa 12 | ihatemms
15/11/2017 13:20 | I still hold a few, but the reality is that even after steep falls, its still trading on x25 earnings for the current FY, and 16 next. Still feels a bit toppy. Will add if it goes to c £1.75. | northwards
15/11/2017 12:12 | So we have market expectation of a more than doubling of the EPS forecast compared to 2017 - 11.7p v 5.7p for June 2017 Y/E. Given the company's propensity to exceed forecasts I would expect the Board will probably be targeting the original 14.5p eps for June 2018. | ihatemms
15/11/2017 11:16 | I agree with boonboon. The med/long term view is what this is all about. You either believe in the story or you don't and I do. As for the sp, I've seen so many great companies' share price drift like during the "quiet" spells when it's easy to walk the price down. Have a look at, TAP - a great company but another illiquid share who's price tends to drift or get walked down. Just one example of many. I suspect many will look at the price here in 18 months time and kick themselves that that didn't load up imo. | melf |
