10/4/2017 10:53 | Don't think those figures have been published but if IDP have an overall margin of around 60% and a roughly even split between DTC and indirect it will still be decent on the latter. I have figures of £6.95m sales and £700k PBT for the current year. Given the margins this suggests the tipping point here is around £5.8m (£480k per month) so apply the margin to any sales above this level. Do the math. | nicksime
10/4/2017 10:03 | It will definitely be a lot higher for direct sales. | boonboon
10/4/2017 09:56 | It would be good to know the margin on the product itself from cost of production to what IDP make. One suspects it will be good. | king kong dong
10/4/2017 09:42 | Does anyone know what the average margins are for sales through third parties compared to direct to consumer sales? | boonboon
10/4/2017 09:39 | So what can we expect sales from stores to be. At nearly 3,500 stores average sales of just £10 a day is £35,000 a day. Of course we have to factor in the retailer margin so we might only get a quarter of that. | boonboon
10/4/2017 09:29 | I suspect that the results will be "materially" ahead of current market expectations. And then some. Thanks croas for your detective work - appreciated. | kemche
10/4/2017 09:26 | A quick post - tracked sales on ST.co.uk from Friday pm to Sunday pm were £32k or £16k a day - well up on previous figures.NB I can't monitor 9 special offers - though I can monitor the 2 biggest current offers.Add the £4K sales from SD.com. That's £20k tracked sales a day from 2 websites.Add the rest of the world . SD stores . Professional sales, feel unique etc etc | croasdalelfc
10/4/2017 09:18 | Boon - correct! | croasdalelfc
10/4/2017 09:16 | I don't think feelunique can be tracked. | boonboon
10/4/2017 09:14 | The MM's are playing in the range and the spread so no chance of selling and buying back cheaper. It's a good consolidation exercise. | andyr42
10/4/2017 09:13 | I think Croas will be giving figures for Feelunique as well. | andyr42
10/4/2017 09:10 | Good work again. Thanks Croas. | andyr42
10/4/2017 08:57 | Then there's Feelunique and the imminent launch on lookfantastic as well. | boonboon
10/4/2017 08:56 | This is going to pop on those figures. Keep topping up shares not tan! | doc robinson
10/4/2017 08:36 | Yeah.. spill the ST beans, the suspense is killing me, I noticed Trump has turned a darker shade of tango must be slapping the ST on,like there's no tomorrow, all we need is Kim Jong to get addicted and sales will really sky rocket 😉 | ny boy
10/4/2017 08:30 | With our weather ur natural tan will last approx. a week, most women do have to dress sensibly at work, so it is only time off when they sunbathing in their in backyards in their birthday suits that they will develop a very pale hue of buff! Sounds like a promo. for a carry on film! | bookbroker
10/4/2017 08:24 | Andy - thanks - ok first one is Superdrug.com ... see next post | croasdalelfc
10/4/2017 08:23 | Croas - good man. Stay in you will be rewarded and keep sending your snippets as your work is based on actual numbers not hearsay. I don't call it ramping, its simple facts. Please let us know your latest figures. Ta. | andyr42
10/4/2017 08:23 | Boon - girls don't want to get the flesh out in the sun or warmer evenings and be as white as a milk bottle - so until they actually get a real tan - fake tan is the way to go.April, May and Jun is prime time | croasdalelfc
10/4/2017 08:20 | No a lot of people buy it to boost their tan before going on holiday | nw99
10/4/2017 08:19 | I would have thought the use of fake tan would tail off as the weather improves as people get a natural tan from the sun. Am I wrong? | boonboon
10/4/2017 08:16 | I've bought back in this morning and put in a couple of limit orders in case it drops.I don't want to be accused of ramping so I'll drip feed the information I've gathered this weekend - let's just say sales in the U.K. at least are accelerating - but then again it was a beautiful weekend and we are entering the prime tanning season | croasdalelfc
09/4/2017 13:17 | Express 1 hour tan launched nice | nw99 |
