22/12/2005 20:10 | latestarter I was reflecting on your october posting 1377 re info from christie. You state turnover is £353,588 and gross profit is £231,363, but the actual accounts show turnover of £353,588 and gross profit of £70,595. The plus side of a shares issue is that no interest would be payable on the sum raised, but of course there would be charges which might amount to the eqivalent of two years interest. | shawzie
22/12/2005 19:47 | latestarter Current holding in INO is one percent. Am I correct in assuming that you now hold two percent? Although I posted a list of the major shareholders recently, I do not know of any way to obtain a breakdown of individual shareholders held in nominee accounts. With regard to directors buying further shares, can we read anything of good cheer into this posting by dell314; dell314 - 11 Jan'05 - 08:03 - 954 of 1470 Shawzie - It's interesting to note Russell's own share dealings cf. your post: Purchase details are OTOH(so please check for exact figures): Bought INO at 3.75p Summer 03 Now 8.25p Bought BDT at 2.75p Summer 04 Now 5.38p Sold MRD at 2p Now 1.05p I think that's all the quoted ones. Unlike some directors, he seems to have a pretty good track record for dealing in his own stocks, so far. | shawzie
22/12/2005 18:47 | do we know if anybody went to the AGM last week? Would have been a good opportunity to ask the chairman questions! | pokey1979
22/12/2005 15:52 | shawzie good points...why not ask the chairman? | sack of spuds
22/12/2005 12:54 | For all business students - this company is one of the classic examples of how to destroy shareholder value and possibly bury a company within five years of its birth. Will this soon actually be "a penny share"? the nav per share has already fallen to 2.04p or 2.90p if intangibles are included. Interim results for the six months ended 31 October 2005 Chairman's statement: "I am pleased to report the Company's results for the half year ended 31 October 2005." HE MUST BE THE ONLY ONE "The Company currently owns and operates three pub / hotel /restaurant sites, which are: The Moss Cottage in Ripley, Derbyshire; The Three Tuns in Pettistree, Suffolk; and The Royal Oak in Leominster, Herefordshire." SO WHY ARE THESE NOT SHOWING PROFITS AT THE BOTTOM LINE? "Following the resolution of all planning and local authority issues, work will continue in the New Year on the development of Fishmore Hall, with the intention that the site will open later in the year. The directors are confident that, once opened, this site's capital value would significantly increase." WHY ARE THE DIRECTORS CONFIDENT? HAVE THEY CARRIED OUT INDEPENDENT MARKET RESEARCH? THEIR TRACK RECORD TO DATE WITH INNOBOX IS HARDLY INSPIRING. "The board has been disappointed with the performance of the investment in AeroBox Plc during the period". THIS INVESTMENT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SOLD TWO YEARS AGO WHEN ; The Company has chosen, subject to shareholder approval at an EGM to be held on 9 June 2003, to build a group in the licensed trade sector and proposes to develop a portfolio of businesses in this sector. "In order to assist the Company with its future activities, the directors have resolved to subscribe for further equity, in conjunction with a placing, following the issue of these results". HOW MANY SHARES AND AT WHAT PRICE? THE FACE VALUE OF AN ORDINARY INNOBOX SHARE IS 2.00p SO ANY NEW ORDINARY SHARES WILL NOT BE ISSUED BELOW FACE VALUE. ASSUMING THAT IT IS NEW ORDINARY SHARES THAT THE DIRECTORS HAVE IN MIND. | shawzie
22/12/2005 07:48 | the only saving grace is that they are pumping more of their own money in, | latestarter
21/12/2005 17:11 | Hardly the stuff of Christmas cheer. Probably hoping they would go unnoticed. | the big fella

21/11/2005 18:53 | latestarter> thanks for that bit of info. i may be going skint but at least I am learning doing so. | randv
21/11/2005 18:15 | they have been sellers fella, and are sat on stock, i have been offered 400k over the last week or so, even after that 250 is taken out there is still 250 left on the retail order system. if it drops 10% with a buy of that size its only going 1 way, got to hope its wicks topping up or 1 of the directors | latestarter
21/11/2005 15:32 | it certainly is the long haul, the first 2 seem the problem, the decision on the gypsy camp near fishmore hall has been ratified by the council so that goes ahead, i think what stumped most people was the right down on free holds, and the drop on the consolidated to a NAV of 3-3.5p i halved my holding with a view to coming back in at the high 2s to average down or sit on 2% if they get taken out, clearly russell stevens is out of the game for a while and any sellers are not even achieving the bid price, we either need an uncomfortable drop in the sp, or some form of support from s wickes who i believe has turned from house builder to stock trader | latestarter
21/11/2005 15:00 | POWWOW, unfortunately for INO they have had to sell their ARX holding due to been a bit short of cash to further their investment plans, also unfortunately the first 2 businesses they acquired haven't proven particularly lucrative either (see last results). I held until recently but sold out at a loss, they're are some knowledgable industry players involved here but IMHO INO is a very long haul, maybe return in 12/18 months & see how they are getting on | infinity
21/11/2005 14:56 | ino needs the cash to help cash flow. i think you need to look back thru this thread as this debate happened a few weeks ago the conclusion of which was they were not selling at a loss, they weren't selling into a very good profit either. from memory ino some time ago showed the arx shares (which were free?) in the balance at a good price, but then the arx price dropped hence the paper profit turned to a papetr loss. Ino then had cash flow problems and had to sell some ARX at a poor price. i may not be correct as memeory plays tricks at my age. DYOR. | sack of spuds
21/11/2005 14:30 | why are they selling stock at a loss and whats happening with this company in general as I'm new to this one and just watching. | powwow
07/11/2005 15:20 | Innobox sells remaining AeroBox holding LONDON (AFC) - Innobox PLC said it sold its remaining holding of 410,002 ordinary shares in AeroBox PLC for 8.25 pence per share on 4 Nov. This disposal represents a loss of 287 stg on the shareholding. just to confirm the sell formally. So that it then free at last. That cash should help liquidity for a while. | sack of spuds
07/11/2005 14:33 | INO now have no holding in ARX hopeing for a good x-mas trade, need some cashflow | vikingben
04/11/2005 16:22 | sack Think they may have done so this afternoon. a 410,000 sale went through at 8.25p | ratters |
