17/2/2017 13:27 | Dow Jones Newswires - 17/2/17: Societe Generale initiates coverage on three European satellite services firms, handing buy ratings to Eutelsat and SES and a sell rating to Inmarsat. SES leads its market while its rivals grapple with the disruption brought by high-throughput satellites. SocGen anticipates that SES will boost revenue by a third by 2020. Shares in Eutelsat are down 37% on-the-year and the bank sees this sell-off as overdone, adding that the company may become a growth story again in the next decade. Until then, Eutelsat remains its sector's defensive stock. But on Inmarsat, SocGen says although the company's aggressive growth strategy may well work in the long-term, the initial margin pain it will bring has not yet been discounted by the market. | simon gordon

12/2/2017 20:37 | I been in this share in the past and this may be worth a buy as long as dividend holds and revenue too as Losos is right in saying. Got good growth chances and dividend covered plus $ based on a three year low or four makes cash and money PE not too high either | mrthomas

10/2/2017 11:59 | EI & racg - In a past life I was involved in telecoms, what ISAT are working towards (ie abilty to communicate from anywhere to anywhere, even in the sky) has to be good business. Problem is there will always be bumps in the road (Having one of your satellites delayed by third party suppliers doesn't help) As you have said you need to be brave to buy in now, but my first buy was when they were embroiled in the renting out of spectrum and the customer couldn't pay (and I think they subsequently went bust) and ISAT was hit hard. Have been well in profit on that purchase ever since :-) Grit your teeth, ignore the doomsayers, and get in there haha. | losos
02/2/2017 17:16 | Well, i am in. | racg
02/2/2017 11:24 | Tend to keep an eye on ISAT as have a small indirect holding via an IT, but tbh their business is well outside the range of my knowledge, use the word knowledge advisedly!. If I had seen some significant insider buying before the close period may have bought a few. It looks a potential trading buy for the brave atm- if you do not think they will markedly disappoint on the results announcement. | essentialinvestor

31/1/2017 22:36 | Certainly a nasty last monthly bar, mostly as a consequence of a couple of broker downgrades. High volume today and only a couple of pence down. Not catching 'the falling knife' but look out for the reversal on the weekly as two institutional shorts gone under 0.5%. | cliffo2
