30/4/2021 14:06 | I have been buying in small nibbles over the last 5/6 weeks and was thinking of further adding then just read this in the FT about price rises and shortages in supplies for the construction sector. or fir thise who cannot access FT try I am not sure how much flexibility INL have to offset rising prices. I went to the the last AR and looked in the risks section and rising input prices not listed as a specific risk. Any delays to completing deals because of raw material shortages will impact INL more than others given their tight financial position. Anyone have any views? I did listen to the interim webcast of Bellway the only other builder in which I currently have shares. This was in March and at that time they were relaxed on availability but did mention timbers and tiles. | cerrito
22/4/2021 08:26 | No problem solarno. Nibbled a few here. Noticed the market makers are shifting higher. That is on all those big sells recently as well as a small batch of private investors lobbing yesterday too so that just tells us that there are large buyers in the market at that 58p and some market participants have noticed it with a few buys yesterday and today. Again, hard to say if this movement on the back of these sells being mopped up is going to be the big breakout one, but it just makes it more interesting when such demand for shares comes in. All imo DYOR | sphere25

21/4/2021 10:03 | The interesting aspect is that these anomalous large volume clear outs can change the dynamics of a share. Quoted so many of these that either loiter about near lows or in ranges until stale bulls are mopped up by existing or new buyers who come in for substantial amounts. This can cause an imbalance in the demand and supply dynamics which flows through to the price. It pays to keep a tabs of these because they can often signal the beginning of a change. Clearly it is all dependent on the company and events surrounding it so we have to be selective, but I'm sure most develop a nose for the good ones over time. Considering the way INL has been range bound and significantly off pre-covid levels, it is clearly a sign there are stale bulls who are selling into those pops higher toward the top of the range. The trades yesterday are significant for INL and the type of clear out that is needed here to give the share a chance of breaking through the top of the range i.e. clearing these sellers in size who keep lobbing there to knock it back down. I am not suggesting INL takes off from here but watching closer when this type of activity hits the book. If I am quoting significant trades hitting the books on any share with a one or two liner, this is the reason why. All imo DYOR | sphere25

13/4/2021 11:55 | Beaconsfield development - the "road to nowhere" that INL have been deferring completing until they've sold so many houses, they've now agreed to start building in summer with a completion in 2022. Must have done a deal with the Council for some better planning.... | igbertsponk

22/2/2021 17:00 | Investors Chronicle - ....In addition, income from land sales and current construction work should drive a reduction in net debt, too, as well as supporting a recovery in profits. In fact, house broker Panmure Gordon predicts free cash flow of £54m will reduce net debt to £98m in the 12 months to 30 September 2021 and pencils in a sharp recovery in pre-tax profits from £3.7m to £13.4m on 25 per cent higher revenue of £125m. On this basis, the shares are priced on a forward PE ratio of 11.5. | davebowler
