16/2/2012 11:57 | NS Number : 5159X Ingenious Media Active Capital Ltd 16 February 2012 Ingenious Media Active Capital Limited ("the Company") The Company notes the recent rise in its share price. While the Directors know of no specific reason for this rise, shareholders are aware that the Company continues to look for suitable realisations of their portfolio companies. Discussions with potential suitors are always ongoing. The Company notes that it has received a non binding indicative offer for one of its investee companies which is being considered by the Company, which if concluded on the terms contained therein would be at a premium to its stated book value and would be a material transaction for the Company and its shareholders. The indicative offer is subject to numerous subjective conditions including as to due diligence. This may or may not lead to the sale of the investee company and there can be no certainty that any sale will be concluded or if a sale is concluded at what price. 16/2/2012 11:53 | lol I'd take that with a pinch of salt, you were stating 5p that CARE would hit yesterday and you vanished quickly there. | 27howard
16/2/2012 11:51 | Rumour is that offer has been made in excess of 30p a share | saud2237

15/2/2012 17:02 | rumour on street big news coming, "it will take to a whole new level" - not my words cant give TMI | akaaur
15/2/2012 16:57 | 27, It doesn't explain the strange bid ask though. | ukmassy
15/2/2012 16:52 | People mention the NAV but there's stacks of stocks out there trading at large discounts to NAV and they dont move so maybe the mm's had little stock and there was demand. | 27howard
15/2/2012 16:48 | 27 howard, It was very strange. The bid ask stood steadfast at 11.5/12.25 yet the price rose all the way to 18.5! | ukmassy
15/2/2012 16:46 | If you were guessing after looking at the trades you would think there was less than 5 million shares in issue, very surprised to see 145 million it looked so illiquid this afternoon. | 27howard
15/2/2012 16:42 | Maybe the mms were having a laugh at our expense with this stock! | ukmassy
15/2/2012 16:41 | There was a 75p buy earlier which was cancelled! LOL! | ukmassy
15/2/2012 16:39 | @Sgilham, I can't see any RNS's for them this morning? | ukmassy
15/2/2012 16:39 | Was there an RNS this morning? According to ADVFN the last RNS was 27 January. This gave a net asset value of over 22p per share which is in line with the figure given by the company last year. Something must have happened today to cause this rise. | mjcrockett
15/2/2012 16:23 | Surely to do with this mornings RNS reporting Net assets of 22.9p per share. Paying 9p for something worth 22.9p is a no brainer in my opinion. Once you get closer to 20p though you're looking at a 10% discount to NAV which is less attractive. | sgilham
15/2/2012 16:18 | ??????????? | string333
15/2/2012 16:08 | Why does the bid/ask show 11.5p/12.25p when the price being paid is 18.4p? | ukmassy
15/2/2012 15:52 | Well, it's nice to see this share up by over 50% but does anyone know why? | mjcrockett
10/6/2010 08:19 | Hi Des - yes, I got out as well and also sitting on a small pile of cash. Reckon the market will fall a further as any bad news will get an over-reaction imo. Therefore I am holding onto my cash until I find a relatively safe large mispricing. BTW have you looked at CAO. Lovely balance sheet there and take-overs a plenty in the sector. | liarspoker
19/5/2010 11:26 | experiment - you can sell now and you'll still get the 35p per share on the 28th. Liars - stuck to my game plan here. 15p bid this morning making 50p in total on a purchase price two months ago of 42p. That's a virtually risk free 18% return after costs which is enough for me with this share and in this market. I'm out :-) I'm nibbling at a few bits. You know about MAE already and am looking elsewhere too. I own rather a lot of AOR so fingers crossed there. | deswalker
19/5/2010 10:25 | Forgive my ignorance, but I have 5000 of these from 44p. Will I get 35p x 5000 if I hold the shares up to the 21st May? Should I sell today, will I lose out? | experiment
19/5/2010 08:16 | Hi Des, Picked up a small few a while ago. Anything else tickling your fancy these days ? Feel free to send them by email if you like. Liars | liarspoker |
