Re. The Solution Minng Conference

As well as Evan Passaris of Atkins and John Wood presenting ‘Project Islandmagee Energy - The Natural Gas Storage Facility in Northern Ireland’

Also of interest is that DEEP are also presenting a paper on ‘Enabling Long-term Storage Integrity Management by Linking Stand-alone Well Integrity Checks’

And Atkins are also presenting a paper on ‘Optimizing Strategies for Brine Production as a Result of Salt Plant Modernization - a Case Example’…;..JW was talking about this a couple of weeks ago in a tweet wasn’t he?

Interesting stuff going on !!

1.22 is the 61.8% on the fib, we close above that next stop/resistance is 1.49 imo and without news, with average positive news(engineering contractor/£2.5m from EU) could test 1.83.

The USA is interesting as it has been all over bloomberg regarding the USA will not have the capacity for gas storage in the next few years-without the capacity to store will cause bottlenecks in supply or force to drop production, having a storage facility next to their target market (EU)would be a strategic move, and in my opinion very possible, also have a bit of an edge on Putin (which will go down well with Trump).

If it's a joint paper Atkins will probably be our constructor or Owners Engineer?

There are heavyweight companies attending that conference.

JW is moving in some pretty big circles spreading the word and bloomberg contacting him is in my opinion a testament to the respect for INFA - The marketing of the project has been second no none.

Not Balanced you gotta laugh
My friends love me,im one of the reason they are invested in INFA
spend most of my time in the kitchen at parties.
but of course you wont read this,as if.

linesal - I'm surprised it's taken you this long!! - his/her agenda was obvious from the outset.

whiteduke- I hope your friends that are invested are not your close friends as doubt they will be too pleased with you!
My issue is you are never balanced,I bet you turn up to parties when it is time for the last dance.

Since you only joined in January 2019 and only posted on INFA (negatives)- It is clear you are a protester that's why I am filtering you.

The need for our own gas storage is critical for future demand. That's why this is such a no brainer of an investment.

I seen that tweet too,the advert as such is on the islandmgee face book site,it was asking for interested parties to contact them, not exactly recruitment, found it odd as INFA are contracting out the proposed build.
The sceptic in me relates to the timing of the advert, anyone showing an interest in working on the project couldnt very well turn up at the protest 3 days later.

whiteduke, Yes I did see that but it is mainly due to inefficient boilers etc, to put a low carbon heating system in a house would add £5k cost to an average house- seen as houses only contribute 5% to the problem and councils have not got the money to regulate it, plus the fact it takes far longer to warm a house with the carbon friendly boilers I very much doubt it will be seen in our lifetime, not when industry is the main contributor and the government can get industry to pay for it.I think in the next 50-75 years we will see a transition from Coal to Gas to Hydrogen for our main energy needs AIMHO.

Liney ,i agree to some extent with your current views on gas volatility going forward, read somewhere today that as from 2025 all new uk builds will not be on gas, still leaves a lot on gas of course but it demonstrates the long term future plans of the uk and gas usage .
