I've had another listen to the call.

When talking about future projects he specifically mentioned projects local to Islandmagee.

He also says they are looking into other potential uses for future caverns (phase 3)

Carbon capture storage (CCS) is a definite possibility imo.

Anyone concerned about Brexit and our CEF funding - there is no threat to our funding and we can continue to apply for further funding. Let's hope this money can help us to leverage private capital into Larne

start :

Explanatory Memorandum of 21 December 2017 (document (a))

4.26 In the context of the deal reached on the first phase of the withdrawal negotiations, the Minister says:

“UK organisations should continue to bid for EU funding with the assurance that payments will continue after our departure from the EU. In respect of projects that have PCI status these would continue to be eligible to apply for, and receive, grants from the CEF energy programme and provided they meet the relevant criteria under the Connecting European Facility regulation and TEN-E regulation.”

4.27 On the Delegated Act and the PCI process more generally, the Minister says:

“The Government welcomes the publication of the PCI list with a significant number of UK projects (23) being included. These comprise 21 electricity and gas interconnection and storage projects and 2 carbon dioxide cross-border network projects. Electricity and gas PCIs located in the UK have benefited significantly from CEF grant funding to date in respect of awards for both works and studies.

“The Government supports the important work the Commission has done over the last year to improve the PCI process through identification of the most pressing infrastructure needs and bottlenecks in the electricity and gas priority corridors that could not effectively be addressed by more efficient use of existing infrastructure. The Commission has also closely monitored the progress of existing PCIs.”

an an aside -

'4.19 For gas, infrastructure is generally in good shape and resilient to a number of disruption scenarios. There are, however, pockets where significant action is still needed. These are primarily in the Eastern Baltic Sea area, the Central and South-Eastern part of Europe and in the Iberian Peninsula (links with France). UK-specific PCIs include Ireland-UK, Scotland-Northern Ireland and development of the underground gas storage facility at Larne.'

Pertinent point BD.
Costain's engagement here and Carillion's demise encouraged me to add to my holding.
Costain will not fritter away investor's cash on a dubious punt because they can't.
If Costain (and I hope / believe they will) are further engaged by us then I will invest further on that basis alone.

Problem is Spud, we live it.
Warren Buffett buys in and f $$*s off for a few months.
All is coming good and some serious players (and BD of course) will take this forward.
Dare to take say 3 months away from the screen, and then purchase a mahoosive turkey and some chateau d'yquem lol

MD,
chances are that at some point soon (ish) the doors may well appear to blow off. Genuinely hope this happens for you.
However.....
This is a completely different, renewed and revitalised company and a continued phase of prosperity will abound.
I have a modest stake here but know of others who have and will leave me in their wake.
Never look back but look forwards.
INFA has a long, long way to go.

Just thinking... JW expressed frustration at not being able to build more of a position. And now the Directors are in this close period. Given the other information and future plans in the conference call last night... the close period could last for an awfully long time, if it covers price sensitive potential deals as well as interims etc. So maybe that's why GL mentioned the close period in a *we'd all be buying shares if we could but we cant* kind of way... if that makes sense. I think it's also important to note, all on here are talking to others with the same common interest, in this case INFA. Living in a bubble if you like. I was quite surprised at the drop today... a great reality check though and a perfect example of don't listen to the noise, research, research and then research some more. I think Boxer touched on this earlier... and really important to be aware of all negatives because this is going to be a rollercoaster for the long term holders, imo of course :)

Nope, if someone comes to the table with an offer, and enters in to due diligence for example, it can take a while.
The BOD are privy to price sensitive / insider information at all times and must conduct themselves appropriately.

I think depends on when they release their financials to the public, so perhaps one or two months from now?

Personally not as price sensitive (insider) information can roll on.
We are now circa 7 million market cap which is absolutely peanuts if all comes together as inferred.

Closed period, no price sensitive information divulged.
Upbeat board and with 6+ percent holding and IMO will add too.
= no brainer, gift horse.
