24/5/2001 22:53 | looking at the bar chart, today looks like the first day of a possible breakout to the upside. plus its also tested its low three times now, and does not want to go below 60.im going to have to rake up some spare cash for this one and jump aboard if chart looks good over next few days. | rocket fuel

24/5/2001 22:15 | i bought some today, hoping that the new CEO comes out with some sensible restructuring and/or cost saving plan (rumored out in June). With market cap 1/2 of cash there is a scope for upside, imo | biomax

24/5/2001 15:11 | Agree there is some buying (why buy a lame duck?) Agree that the share is heading for disaster (no sign of sales, never mind profit before cash runs out) yet I cannot help feeling that the company has something up its sleeves. The new boss has many other skills other than Private B2B exchanges. With £100m he can do an awful lot. I think he is well connected and was brought in to merge the company with a small profitable company in order to boost profits there whilst reducing costs in marketing, sales etc in INTRADE until such a time when the market is ready for the product and the economic outlook looks more rosy. Should this happen the shares would command there cash and potential value immediately and perhaps £5+ would be possible in the shorter term and longer term who knows. This would enable the company to continue trading and developing a product for the biggest software market of all time (est $35 billion). This would not be the first time infobank has changed direction overnight and the shares went from 40p to £40 in 6 months. This is my opinion and I still think info is a real gamble however I can see ways through for the gamble to pay off unlike many. The biggest winners are always the most speculative plays, but be prepared to lose your cash. Good luck | tobaccoman
24/5/2001 13:56 | MMs are fixing the price on this - watch the Sells/Buys. Explain how a 100000 sell got a price of 61.47 against most at 61.0. This happens a lot. When the market size is small. On the market cap - I think most city analyst do take cash into account - main share price is driven by profitibilty. Cash helps for aquitions, burn offs etc. Sorry to say this - long term, this is heading towards sub 50p. Also no news (orders) for sometime - either there are some in the pipeline or drying up. | vaitha |
