I'm a LTH with an average price of 14.5P - nice to see positive movement and half tempted to take my stake out to put elsewhere as not currently investing in this sector, but overall a relatively small part of portfolio so will continue to hold and see where we go

Online buying closed down virtually all day again. I am sure (if anyone is left here) there would be a temptation to take profits after a 20% plus rise in two sessions but somehow I do feel few are taking the bait.

Seems to be some momentum over the past two sessions and some fairly decent sized trades. Certainly worth bearing with this share for a while longer yet.

Yeah could be dead money for the next 12 months but I think they have applied, with Buffett, for more Licences in the 32nd round. Success there and a well financed partner could ignite the share price.

Reading the time it will take then next year sometime in H2 2021 we might have drilled. What are the shares going to do in the meantime?

Nice to see on this relatively unexciting day. Small volumes but ... little acorns?

Warren Buffet's $10bn purchase of Dominion Energy's natural gas assets, shows he is serious about the sector. With a toehold in IOG (too small to make any difference to Berk Hath): watch this space.

There have to be two drills by October 2021 - Goddard and Abbetdale and if not they will go back to the O&GA. Development and Production goes on with all licenses BUT Q3 is a very important date as one should know just what cash flow can be expected. So it seems there is no hurry for the next few months to buy/sell the shares. I have a small holding and as Buffet is involved I would like to add more at some stage. As owners of 50% of all the licenses he may at some stage buy out IOG's 50% and leave the company with just the Becton terminal. As SHELL really own the rest of this important area they may be interested - who knows! Someone some where is going to come in and tidy up the North Sea "smaller" companies licenses and the starting gun will be after we all know who has gained the 32 round licenses,,,,,,,,,,,,July onwards................ That is my view but others may want to differ.

Indeed DUNDERHEED........but I have also checked what Peel Hunt have had to say in the past and between all of them have invested today at 11.75p. I shall buy more as all the costs are basically underwritten by Mr Buffet and subject to time tables being met there is going to come a time when IOG can start to clean up some of the rag bag companies in the North Sea - especially the Southern sector where the gas is. Gas is the future for me as far as fossile fuels are concerned.
