Maybe everyone should sell tiny amounts to flush the seller out and crash the price :)

Yes there is a concern re ISAs as well as potential wealth taxes!

I think I will have to write this one off as tax loss BH.
Agree - Southwark could definitely still come in - but I'm having to rationalise portfolio a bit now - considering "rumours" about potential limits on ISA holdings etc.
Very disenchanted with how this country has been governed for last few years and fed up with paying so much tax compared to a lot of others proportionately.
All IMHO of course.

We do need to wait for A1 and A2 may produce some gas yet. Also I forgot to mention that Cal Energy is paying half the costs. I of course understand you scepticism. Are you still holding (I am).

BH it aint looking great if Southwark doesn't come in?
I'm thinking zombie company - slave to the bond-holders?
Obviously will come out in the wash in next few days - but something very smelly in Denmark, or something like that anyway?!

All IMHO, DYOR.

There are two other fields already generating cashflow with another producer at Blythe to be drilled imminently. Also there may be some gas from A2 and there is also A1 at Southwark to be completed.

The problem is the the company is tapping into gas reservoir's the majors left behind. So I hope they do get success in a way but if south is not commercial then it's a big problem as a lot of money has be spent with the rig, pipeline, and drilling. Imo now it's ver high risk because of the water on-take and the very low gas flow. The pos is the pressure is good so it's a gamble on how it'll turn out. We need it to work as other wells are reducing.

Sorry but there's no way out if this. IOG didn't do enough reservoir engineering upfront and they're reaping what they sowed. The management responsible for this are all gone. But if I'd invested based on misleading puffs, Id be looking to sue em. Wherever they are.

'IOG (IOG) announced a Southwark update. Following stimulation of six reservoir zones, gas rates observed from the A2 well to date have been lower than expected. Along with water rates of up to 1,632 barrels per day, the results of the well clean-up are described as unexpected and disappointing. All is not lost, though, since the upcoming A1 well is expected to strengthen the production profile from early in the second quarter and with Blythe H2 and the Kelham and Goddard appraisal wells to follow, 2023 is set to be a potentially high-impact year for the company.'

then buy a lot more.

For the noobs, rns are not realised until the selling has stopped. I would be happy if we close at 8p then go orbital next week past 10p towards 12p.
