10/8/2022 12:00 | Dunderheed I may sell half of my LLOY and buy more IOG. With the situation as it is now, shares may not be the place to be. I remember the last big dip when I bought LLOY for 20p and Barc for 50p. So you never know.... may happen again. Hope not! | maxidi
10/8/2022 11:46 | MM / maxidi - agree fully just hope the "market" values the assets a bit higher as my patience is starting to reduce / wear thin as I look elsewhere and see the share price appreciations not matched here!! Just get the feeling we will be substantially higher in the NY - but then again I've been saying that for years and years and years!! Best of luck all. | dunderheed
10/8/2022 11:41 | I am seriously thinking about buying more iog. My LLOY shares went ex divi last week and are now treading water with a buy back in progress as well, very boring. | maxidi
10/8/2022 11:38 | You make some good points DH. I would certainly have taken the offer but we are where we are and hopefully for not too much longer. | marvelman
10/8/2022 11:29 | MM not at all short sighted - it would have landed at 25P cash and share offer or all share - you know that having RRE shares in equivalent IOG shares would have done infinitely better in comparison. Love them or loathe them but actually AA team are very very much liked by the II's and they do what a lot of other oilers have struggled to do - which is make good money for share-holders and are IMHO infinitely better team than that at IOG and it looks like the II's agree with that "viewpoint". When I look at my portfolio and the Opp Cost of holding this motley crew - I would have done many many times better elsewhere invested during this period. Now we are at crazy valuation times through (part) "luck" (but also incredibly mis-managed energy policy by all of Europe - which was obvious to some) rather than strategy - but imagine what the returns would be like at the planned 45p revenues and ridiculous budget over runs and "other" "errors" along the way? Don't confuse good management with "luck" matey (and we're still poorly equivalent valued, lol)!! As ever all IMHO and DYOR. | dunderheed
10/8/2022 11:16 | tidy 2 Thanks for the info. You never know what's around the corner! | maxidi
10/8/2022 11:03 | I do remember that Rockrose offer when the share price was circa 16p and they were offering 20p or so. I also remember thinking the IOG BOD should have taken the offer and given us a nice 25% profit...was also invested in RRE anyway. So how another 3 years has made me look rather short-sighted..and wrong. Edit I should say in some defence that gas at this price was not imagined particularly as LNG imports were the apparent game changer for the future at that time. | marvelman

10/8/2022 10:56 | Followed by #KIST not making a firm offer for #SQZ. Eyes on #IOG. Makes sense. And comments of IOG being better value than SQZ | tidy 2

10/8/2022 10:12 | hpcg Thanks for that. Clears it up for me! | maxidi
10/8/2022 09:59 | It's just a ramp about Kistos buying IOG. Not a lot would come of it other than providing volume to clear Odier and putting a floor under the share price (so to be clear, all good), but LOG administrators are not selling out for that. | hpcg
10/8/2022 09:50 | mikeh30 Sorry but a lot of folk don't do twitter so we can't gain entry unless members. So could you copy a bit of the info please. Thanks.... | maxidi

08/8/2022 16:24 | Phillsy on LSE has put some figures together on rev and profits to iog for the year. Very impressive. We have plenty in the tank to move north from here very much so. Take a look. Cash cow right now even before Southwark kicks in. | tidy 2
08/8/2022 12:23 | I was thinking about Southwark, gas rates this winter and the super tax. It is probably worth the company spending more than it otherwise would to expedite the time to production. It will cost just 10% of the additional, and it will likely make that given how much per day the field will be making. | hpcg
08/8/2022 11:36 | Company should not be wasting money sending out pointless RNS. | hpcg
08/8/2022 11:36 | thanks hp and marvel mam they will have costs to get off southwark going | dilip40
08/8/2022 11:30 | No news in that regard is good news. Any disruptions are market sensitive So flows are strong and due to at least double as per schedule. | tidy 2
08/8/2022 09:38 | Hello anyone there at IOG HQ? We could do with a production update for the month of July just to reassure we are actually benefitting from these strong gas prices...... | xxnjr
05/8/2022 20:36 | Very true, there could be further NS development incentives if Truss gets in based on what she has said. KK will be Chancellor I guess. | bountyhunter
05/8/2022 17:05 | Good question though dilip40. It does have a cost to IOG but we are spending so of a lower impact than to, e.g. Serica. One thing we might ponder is what Truss does. She is talking about encouraging investment so she might ease the terms. No value to assign on that yet but there could be positives there. | hpcg
05/8/2022 14:06 | 1m buy full ask. | tidy 2 |
