What would happen if Russia was so short of cash and opened up the full use of their oil/gas to europe?
We still need all the gas we can get from the N.sea and storage (just in case) for our own use and so IOG Et AL will go on for years to come IMO.
All the 'GREEN' stuff will come in slowly of course but not enough to replace gas.

"Russia will slash gas supplies through its largest pipeline to Germany to just a fifth of capacity later this week in a move that threatens to leave the continent short of critical supplies ahead of the winter.

State-owned energy group Gazprom said it would cut existing flows on the Nord Stream 1 pipeline in half to just 20 per cent of capacity from Wednesday, having already lowered them to 40 per cent last month. European politicians have decried Russia’s “weaponisation” of gas supplies....."

Yes and I won't be selling a single share here for some time.

Just heard that it's some kind of chicken/cheese dish for dinner so I've dusted down a bottle of Ruby Cabernet. Only a third bottle from Lidl as it's a Monday evening with work tomorrow!
