Dh - what made you change your mind about asset quality?

Can only get 33.9 for 110k at mmt by the way. 34.5 for 50k.
Irrelevant, as similar to you, intend to hold for at least 9-12 months.

Sometimes the liquidity to dry but I'm getting offers to sell no problem. Sometimes mms will try to coax you to NT to give the impression there is no demand but I've been getting premium sell quotes so somebody wants stock. Difference here is I won't be selling until we are 100p+ due to gas demand and being U.K. and based. Far too much potential not baked in here.

Yeah but not much volume tidy - I was "struggling" to dummy sell 150k so really just "fluff" at this time linked to take-over speculation (post SQZ RNS this morning - still doesn't mean a deal cannot get done there of course?) which I think should happen within 9 months (or possibly earlier) if everything goes to plan?

Surely both SQZ (didn't think adequate asset quality originally but changed my mind now) and KIST have both got to be interested - at the right price of course!
IMHO, DYOR.

The share price is worth more than the spike on first gas so you wasnt foolish it's just market mechanics. No need to beat yourself up unless youre a trader and work that way. Safe now we are producing strong. Just think how many will be spiked on ANGS first gas and they are hedged to the hilt before they know what they can flow at. 10x1000 times safer holding here.

I participated only in IOG's videos, not KIST or SQZ. There is quite a lot of interest in NS O&G, not only UK, but also NO and NL, and also other companies with African assets like Panoro/PetroNOR or Vaalco. But that's only a part of the investment interests, there is also coal, fintech, mining, shipping, dividend kings, China/HK Cos ... The weekly videos show this diversity of interests (I do not share all of them).

Spain hasn't got any public companies in O&G except Repsol and TRE (competitor to Petrofac)

I bought low originally but foolishly topped up on 1st gas hiking my AVG to 36p, but as you say should be ok with this before long :)
Update - only 1p to go now, could hit break even later today!

IOG is well in its own ... As I said in the video I shared a few days ago, I wouldn't sell at 40p or 50p. If current futures materialise, the upwards potential is much closer to the pound.

bountyhunter, I think you will see your position in black by the end of this week. I managed to lower my average share price to ~29.5p with a couple buys below 30p, despite buying some at 39p after the first gas

Mm that thought occured to me re SQZ/IOG as well, looking good here now and I'm confident of being back in the blue soon at 36p+ :)

So as expected SQZ Knocked KIST backNS far too attractive to be letting go.

I must say though with the current outlook for IOG (and barring no more serious "operational updates") IOG looks better than it has ever been as an investment so an offer now would not be in our interests at anything less than 50p

An offer for IOG from SQZ would make it awkward for KIST from SQZ's point of view

Yes very strong, assuming no more ongoing issues revenues should be well ahead of expectations.

UK Day Ahead NBP pricing still strong, averaging about

Prev Week: 162p
Last Week: 219p
Yesterday: 208p
Today: 254p

These kind of prices are unheard of for summer months. Roll on winter! IOG reserves maybe modest. IOG production maybe modest. IOG cashflow ought to be decent!

Back to where we were a few days ago, not much of a potential takeover premium, yet.
