22/6/2022 08:23 | IEA WARNS EUROPE TO PREPARE FOR TOTAL SHUTDOWN OF RUSSIAN GAS EXPORTS - FT | tidy 2
22/6/2022 08:19 | I spoke to an industry friend of mine and raised the topic of the hedging cost. He said the spread has blown up, which can only be seen from a trading screen. The mid-price is not at all representative. This makes it expensive to run a premium neutral buy-sell pair as the spread is paid for on both sides. I guess this is representative of the real world where no one knows what European gas prices will be. | hpcg

21/6/2022 17:48 | Another 1.41% shed by LOG yesterday who are becoming less of a problem now they are down to 15.41%. Good riddance to them! Maybe Serica will put in a bid or possibly CalEnergy on behalf of WB being greedy while others are fearful! | bountyhunter
21/6/2022 17:02 | Lets hope we get an RNS in the morning "offer for the company" would be perfect...otherwise the Law of Gravity will prevail for sure. Although. with our luck, it will be "operational update" :-)) | marvelman
21/6/2022 12:19 | Yes Dh I bought at around 15p then sold higher a few times patting myself on the back as I'm not normally much good at trading so generally buy and hold. Then I got caught out more recently which is why my current holdings average out at 36p. I'll check the date of my first purchase here as that would have been years ago indeed! Edit - 6 years ago, I'm surprised as it seems longer than that, just been a long wait to 1st gas perhaps. OD - Q4? Pigs might fly! If they do, bring back Pink Floyd to celebrate ;-) | bountyhunter
21/6/2022 12:07 | OfficeD - Yes, the equivalence is based on KJ content, but the pricing schemas are historically way different. NPDs equivalence tables for reporting are here: but as they say: "* The properties of oil, gas and NGL vary from field to field and over time, but a common and constant conversion factor is used in the resource accounts for all discoveries and fields." | hpcg
21/6/2022 11:33 | Bipos, 54mmscf/d 9571 boepdSo IOG got net 4785boe.Plus currently half of about 1800boe liquids.Expect the liquids to drop as they state and gas to go up.Initially, the wells were flowing at 90mmscf/pd. So there was a drop off after first gas..I kind of get hcpg's point(it is way to hide gas production -like at I3E for e.g).However, if the gas was the same the boe would put things at equal energy? Perhaps correcting for the gas mix they could all post everything (including renewables in MWh? I have no idea what flow is expected for the Saturn banks East..Anybody? And...Is there anyone on here who thinks they will start production in Q4 ... Without delay?.... | officerdigby
21/6/2022 11:19 | I thought you'd been "here" years bounty - did you "go" and "come back" (probably having made a few quid in your absence?!)? | dunderheed
21/6/2022 11:08 | Yes it was a decent update yesterday Dh I agree, credit where credit is due, tentatively though pending continuation! Still some way to go to get back to my average of 36. | bountyhunter
21/6/2022 10:52 | Thanks hpcg I was just trying get my head round the value between sqz & iog, I hold both. As they both produce mostly or all gas in the north sea but report in boe (sqz) or mmscf/d (iog). | bipos
21/6/2022 10:48 | slide 6 of the Peel Hunt Presentation 11 March 2022 in header above (thanks, bounty) has some very interesting revenue/gas price sensitivities per 10 mmscf/d of production by Quarter. | xxnjr
21/6/2022 10:14 | Haven't posted for a bit because was quite happy with the update yesterday - good detail and seems good news - hence surely this will revalue around 35p over the summer now? Now I've piped up and said that - expect share price to drop for rest of day, lol! Best of luck all. | dunderheed
21/6/2022 10:13 | BH I am so glad I topped this morning... phew! I never believed that this could be over a pound a share by next year but now all is possible. | maxidi
21/6/2022 10:07 | What's happening here, have I got today's chart upside down?!! Or has Warren bought a few? | bountyhunter
21/6/2022 09:58 | HpcgGas futures at 300p over winter/end of 2022.Dont mind conservative pricing models though. | edgar222
21/6/2022 09:07 | Looks like brokers have shaved a tad off 2022 after the update with now £120m revenue forecast, and 2023 holding at £177m. So a bit more precision on Q2 now its almost in. With so many moving parts H2 and 2023 are of course best guesses and there is scope for significant upside. My mid-case pricing model has 100p for Q3 and 200p for Q4, which looks pessimistic given that 150p is the current case and likely to remain there while Freeport LNG is shut in. | hpcg
21/6/2022 08:41 | GnomeAdd a nought! 60mmscf/d is 600k therms. It isn't quite. Its slightly less. But for a stab at calculations it does for me.Oh. And you are going to need a bigger calculator! The numbers are enormous. IOG a no brainer IMHO. | edgar222 |
