regarding hedging rns states "pricing and execution.... currently prohibitive"

should have gone to specsavers!

I don't think they can hedge. The issue is that if they hedge and they an unexpected prolonged outage they would have a cash call on the hedge. Perhaps not brilliantly explained but it's my take from reading Sericas results. They haven't added any hedges recently either.

Decent update bought a good few more at 24.5p too cheap at this level ,Yes hpcg maybe a little hedge around this level could be useful.

The market, by which I mean the small investor, was expecting this RNS a few weeks ago. Operating margin for Saturn Banks would be 100% even during conventional summer months. Guidance is still quite broad, but they can certainly afford to forward sell some and be confident of making deliveries, even if they only do so for Q1 2023 to be happy Southwark is online too.

A comprehensive update. The recent falls seem unjustified imv.

Thanks hpcg is there nothing like the well production data available in USA here in the UK.

wskill - that data is only for wells that have ceased producing permanently.

Could we not get production data from UKCS below or is it too far behind.

I've bought more. I reread the last RNS:

On 31 May, following a PUK modification to one of the CSU's compressors, Saturn Banks production was duly restored at an initial level of approximately 30 mmscf/d. As previously indicated, modification of the second compressor is expected to take approximately one further week. This will then enable Saturn Banks production to be gradually restored to its prior stabilised levels of 55-65 mmscf/d over the following weeks. This is expected to be a gradual process to manage the high levels of liquids currently being worked through the Saturn Banks Pipeline System

So I think the expectations for an immediate second RNS were misplaced. We'll just have to cope with all that bonus liquids revenue.

Fiona MacAulay ยท Chair of IOG plc, NED of Ferrexpo, Chemring and Costain Plc, & EPI Group Ltd, etc

She certainly rakes it in! Any time left for IOG?

A progress report in light of the share price halving since first gas was announced might reassure the market.

I want to see the volume print for today first. Yesterday was very very low and if similar today then price isn't carrying a lot of information.

I am ready to do a topup as well but the chart seems to indicate 20p as a likely support level. I shall wait for that and probably double up at that price.

From the SQZ thread posted by Mickinvest...

At this time, completion of all necessary repairs and a return to full plant operations is not expected until late 2022

Freeport LNG

And still IOG stays down, unlike SQZ which has rallied on that news!

The LNG terminal in the US that caught on fire a couple of weeks ago won't be back up for 90 days now, original prognosis 3 weeks. UK gas prices will be providing a lot of support, but of course IOG has to be producing.

wskil - quite right re "decent" management team - RRE obviously springs to mind of course as well.

You have to remember their assets as fundamentally a league higher as well - IMHO - but again that is a factor of good management I suppose, in that they chose to work those respective assets.
I find it very concerning that "decent management" teams are not sniffing around "our assets" as well now - which is telling in itself - or probably put off by the ridiculous balance sheet structure - designed by ah - our "management team" - lol!!

Right got to go now as am in the bad books now - best of luck all and here's hoping there isn't an atrocious 14.00 RNS to come!

As ever all IMHO.

I'd be fine if the second solution was not "fixed" yet - it would be catastrophic if the first solution had "broken" again.
We have an upcoming potential "bond issue" - but again this can be worked out - and if the second phase production issues can be worked out in say three months - we should have enough cash to get us through this point - without too much further dilution, IMHO.
Right under pressure to get lunch with GF so have a "good" afternoon all!
All IMHO of course!

Let me guess, this has taken longer than a week with problems ongoing?

"On 31 May, following a PUK modification to one of the CSU's compressors, Saturn Banks production was duly restored at an initial level of approximately 30 mmscf/d. As previously indicated, modification of the second compressor is expected to take approximately one further week."

Imho only and just a guess but I'm not giving any odds on that possibility!
