03/11/2018 07:27 | A few years ago when these were 2300 and undervalued I posted a remark that on the same valuation metric they would get to 4000 in 2021. As things transpired, they closed in on that price not too long ago and fell back. Now we're at 2600 but I suspect we'll see 4000 again on fair valuation in the next 3 years. | danieldruff2
02/11/2018 19:10 | So much for GSK and IMB being safe shares. Dividends are ok but the capital destruction makes a mockery of holding these. Even positive results make no difference to these. Are they worth holding any more?? | warranty
02/11/2018 17:15 | Fags and drugs taking a kick in the whatsits, looking likely the Fed will raise again in december. Not too bad a week for the portfolio though all things considered. Good weekend everyone. | philanderer

02/11/2018 13:56 | US NFP, Actual = +250k, vs Forecast of +190k, vs Previous month Actual of +118k. Love him or hate him, Trump has turbo-charged their economy. | jrphoenixw2

Good luck and enjoy your lunch | ken tennis
02/11/2018 13:30 | Well put ken 😏 Non farm payroll numbers will decide the future speed of interest rate rises and hence the desirability of bond proxy shares I guess. Can't really moan, sitting here on the seafront in Nice scoffing chicken and chips 😎😎 | philanderer
02/11/2018 12:26 | The US market share data Phil kindly posted put me off adding any. Will reassess following results. | essentialinvestor

25/10/2018 18:15 | EJ , these guys agree with you :-) Market report.. Imperial Brands and British American Tobacco were on the up as investors noted US rival Altria, the maker of Marlboro cigarettes, said it was pulling several of its vaping products off the shelves ahead of possible ban of e-cigarettes to young people in the US. | philanderer
25/10/2018 17:19 | EJ possibly but then wouldn't that be a red flag as to why are they pulling out and how would that affect other types of products offered, or is it something to do with the FDA as well ? | scrwal
