A few years ago when these were 2300 and undervalued I posted a remark that on the same valuation metric they would get to 4000 in 2021. As things transpired, they closed in on that price not too long ago and fell back. Now we're at 2600 but I suspect we'll see 4000 again on fair valuation in the next 3 years.

So much for GSK and IMB being safe shares. Dividends are ok but the capital destruction makes a mockery of holding these. Even positive results make no difference to these. Are they worth holding any more??

love it that's what life's about trouble is this trading lark is hard to put down especially when you spot a bargain, I was in Venice for my 60th birthday in April this year looked in at me stock and see WPP was well down so stuck a trade on and sold out a week later it paid for me Birthday haha that was a good story but I also have a lot of bad.

Non farm payroll numbers will decide the future speed of interest rate rises and hence the desirability of bond proxy shares I guess.

Based on that EPS we should be getting a 65p divi for this XD and then another 65p for March 2019

Imperial Brands and British American Tobacco were on the up as investors noted US rival Altria, the maker of Marlboro cigarettes, said it was pulling several of its vaping products off the shelves ahead of possible ban of e-cigarettes to young people in the US.
