Same here. World population due to expand by 16% to 2030. Most of it in emerging markets where tobacco regulation is generally low because governments are desperate for the tax take. Sad from humanity's perspective but true. As long as a tobacco company is allowed to be quoted on a stock exchange, and it makes money, I will most likely be an investor.

Glad I stuck in here with divs re-invested. One beauty of being on the share register and holding certificates is that you don't have to hand anything over to a platform or broker or facilitator or other money grabbing swine who do nothing and charge for it. People should be aware of the costs of holding via nominees etc. Often they can grab nearly all of the dividend to pay fees. A con that needs more publicity.
