30/12/2017 20:57 | I would rather have money maker's transparent valuation based on relevant precedents, than njb's self confessed "guess" at a figure. | englishlongbow
30/12/2017 20:44 | In fairness njb's presence has allowed for some great debate. Are all those who reference the 'accepted takeover formula' the same person? This formula, based on one recent deal is far more dubious than most of njb's posts.I would be absolutely delighted if IMM were bought out based on this formula but just because I want it doesn't make true. | rabito79
30/12/2017 20:37 | Bermuda No worries. I also understand that my approach - I am conservative and do call out what I see as the risks - does not suit everyone's agenda. And I do not need to tell anyone that there is an agenda here btw. On Nobby, I simply do not know. I had an IM from him (I presume by the name) a couple of days ago, to which I responded. All I know is that he has concerns about the science, something I am ill prepared to take a view on. Way over my head. I do not know who he works for or anything about him apart from a couple of IMs and what I have read on here - that he stirred things up by questioning whether Lup works. FWIW, if Cephalon were prepared to pay up to $500m, I am assuming they will have done due diligence. My background is commercial not R&D. I would like to think that I have been very transparent about my approach, I am conservative but I would like to think realistic, I have found over the years that this works better for me than constantly believing I am this close to a life changing investment. Life tends not to work that way. I have to confess it amuses me greatly that in predicting a three-bagger in the next three months I am being called a deramper. In the history of the stock market, ever, how many times does a company increase it's share price three-fold in the next few months, having increased by fourfold in the preceding year. The dot.com era would provide examples I am sure, and that turned out well... For me, this all comes down to the next set of trial results. If they go the way we all hope, then there is a good chance we will get taken out at a price that will make many on here very happy. If all goes well, as I have said, I can see this being £5 during 2018 and thanks to allonblack a case for up to £10 makes sense. The rest, for me at least, is wishful thinking. Disclaimer: anticipating bricks in my direction. You also need to think though what happens if the clinical results are not as good as hoped and the FDA do not grant a licence. IMM only have funds until end 2018 and none for further trials. A fundraising from a position of weakness is never a good thing for existing shareholders. Have a look at TPL (bitter experience) to see what happens. At best holding are diluted, they could be wiped out. I do realise that this will only provide ammunition to those who believe I am here to cause mischief. It is though something all shareholders need to think about. We all make our own decisions and if I have at least posed questions that folk think about then I have in my own way added some value to this board. GLA | njb67
30/12/2017 19:40 | njb67 - Yes, I know Nobby's background and have been reading his posts on VAL with great interest!! ;) This is the second time we have had the benefit of an industry insider working for an undisclosed pharma who has bought shares and then proceeded to post constantly of the risk. I'm not sure whether you have any connection at all (perhaps work for the same Company?) but you will understand that it seems a bit odd when your profile suddenly changes to show that you have deleted links to Nobby. Nevertheless, If I have made a mistake then I sincerely apologise. I happen to very much agree with your points on valuations but your reasoning fails to take into account any of the upside, such as upfront payments, milestones, the fact that a successful phase III creates value for P140 in other conditions ........etc., etc. As Barriew says - Everyone do your own research, and invest what you feel safe investing. | bermudashorts
30/12/2017 19:16 | well i hope he disappears soon his concerned trolling is irritating | runtoma
30/12/2017 19:14 | Bermuda I suspect when you IM someone you become a follower and they follow you. Check with ADVFN as I have never followed anyone on here. Btw, I deleted his and jpls IMs and contact details, which appear alongside the ADVFN user contact. I did not follow ADVFN either. Btw, Nobby is a scientist, that is certainly not me. Suspect he will be finding this most amusing. I have posted in good faith and stand by all I have posted. GLA | njb67
30/12/2017 18:56 | Great sleuthing skills people. Nobby is back it seems. | spawny100
30/12/2017 18:42 | I dont think njb67 has invested here, it just makes him sound more plausable, Everyone do your own research, and invest what you feel safe investing, For me after the ph11 results i am super confident the results will be exceptionel, but the proof of the pudding will be in the results. Good luck to all in 2018. | barriew
30/12/2017 18:37 | njb67 "Btw, I am not Nobby Gnome, we are different people. He did IM me this week, which is I suspect why he appears as a contact" When I viewed your profile earlier, you were following 2 posters, one of whom was Nobby. AFAIK you have to actually intentionally select a poster to follow - it doesn't happen by accident or because someone has sent you a DM. It's strange that within the last hour or so your profile has changed and the two posters you were following have been deleted! Hmmmmmm | bermudashorts
30/12/2017 18:25 | Yes, that would be my approach as well. Ever since 37 pence I have been trying to run this thing down, to no avail. Some day I might try sorting out all these details before I invest. | topdiesel
30/12/2017 18:12 | makes sense invest and then run it down | runtoma
30/12/2017 18:11 | I think we will be looking at a takeover here, particularly in view of the Lupuzor P140 multi-billion sales potential and platform that could treat at least 12 diseases and replicate the multi-billion sales many times.. As top tips said, Lupuzor P140 could be a Top 20 selling drug and possibly a Top 10 drug. All companies with such drugs have either multi-billion valuations or were taken over for large sums. As money maker said, the takeover formula is $1 billion upfront for every $7 billion of future sales, so IMM would be bought out for around $14 billion or £80 a share (assuming multi-billion sales, as indicated by IMM themselves). Could be more as we have a 95% gross margin, long newly granted patent and will be market launch ready in H2 2018. | top tips
30/12/2017 18:06 | Njb67 certainly writes in the same style as nobby gnome, same alleged background, Both came out of nowhere to spend hours saying the same things. Some parts are interesting and even a low £5 valuation is the right direction, but he only does partial research, and doesn't see all the picture here. The potential. I feel it is nobby, hes learnt from his mistakes the first time he was here, he has a motive as why would he spend all his time here ( no friends) ( no family) perhaps needs to buy a dog. | barriew
30/12/2017 18:05 | luke Wish I was being paid! I bought 11644 shares earlier this week. I work in pharma and have done so for a long time now, so this is a sector where I believe I can add useful insight and challenge some of the more dubious claims that are being made on this board. In setting out the pros and cons of IMM in public it also helps me pressure test my own thinking. If I have got something wrong, then I welcome feedback. Equally, I try and explain my views and provide relevant links where this makes sense. I hope these are useful, if not, then I will not be offended. In the end you have to make up your own mind. I think IMM could be a big thing, if the Phase 3 study comes good and so long as they do not run out of money. These are the two big risks, albeit inter-related. I do though struggle with some of the valuations being bandied around. You know my views on this so will not repeat. I an on holiday, which is why I have time to post. That will change next week. Nothing more to it than that. Btw, I am not Nobby Gnome, we are different people. He did IM me this week, which is I suspect why he appears as a contact. We have not met, I do not know him. He did though warn me that my views may be unpopular on here. I told him I was old enough and ugly enough not to let that worry me. Good luck | njb67

30/12/2017 17:38 | Why not £60-100 per share here, if we were in the US the share price would be much higher already. Blocknet crypto atomic swaps co went from 0.36c in May to $36 to date ( did spike to $64) They are just more aggressive investors that see things differently over in the US, many in blighty are too fearful and nervous to ever make spectacular returns but it can easily come here. | ny boy
30/12/2017 17:37 | I am not expecting a totally honest answer, only your recent arrival has begged the question from some that you are a paid deramper, if such type actually exists. I know you have said you bought recently 12,000 shares and so this hardly inspires confidence in that notion. I would just say that you 'all of sudden ' appear to be on this thread permanently, responding to questions from fellow posters on very quick time. You are either just Mr Wonderful or just too good to be true with your illuminating postings. As you are predicting a score of £5 with the caveat of a successful phase 3 yresult, this would suggest that are not a deramper and yet your postings somehow make one feel that you are. Quite a puzzle, we have here. Copious postings and I am not sure where I stand with you. | lukead
30/12/2017 17:27 | Was it Jurgen Klopp? | rabito79
30/12/2017 17:26 | Rab When a 32 year old asks his club to be realistic and only charge £89m for him then the world has truly gone mad... | njb67
30/12/2017 17:21 | I heard a respected analyst say in person that another pharma would be prepared to pay $7 billion for Lupuzor thanks. | englishlongbow
30/12/2017 17:16 | I wonder if Liverpool used the accepted takeover formula for the purchase of Van Dijk. | rabito79
30/12/2017 17:03 | lol, keep them coming njb67! | bermudashorts |
