A lonely chap like Nobby, all by himself in a one bed bedsit on the 20th floor at Nelson Mandela house in the big smoke. All he has for company is a couple of top shelf mags, a few tins of the blue nasty and a large picture of Rachel Welch on the wall. This is when internet and social media become so important to these types of people. You see they cannot integrate in normal society, the real Nobby is not much to look at, never mind the zero social skills he has. Hence the personal created on a anonymous board is the best outlet. Here you can become Warren Buffet, Superman or even Super Woman depending on taste for the fetish LOL.

No one is none the wiser, you can create a character, lets say you wanted to become a PHD scientist, 30 years in the industry, maybe add a successful investment portfolio to the mix. Become a marathon runner, tell people you have the physical appearance of Tom Cruise etc etc. All you have to do is post it a few times and some people will believe. Now there is a idea Nobby, why do you not just do that LOL LOL LOL.

Haha I sussed him (Nobby) ages ago, I believe he likes to use names he knows (cartoons, games or fast food outlets) to make user names here.

But the text and message are always the same. Do you remember that Dr Biotech, now that was a great one he made LMFAO, what next, maybe Dr Lupus, Dr GSK, Dr KOL, I can not wait to find out, I just hope he veers away from Dr Death or something, that would be plain monotonous.

The Phase 3 trial primary end point was not met.

It failed.

The best they can hope for now is that after the results of the follow on study in October a partner may help them undertake another Phase 3 trial, although the follow on study could be inconclusive or a flop. If it is inconclusive or a flop, the comnpany will be worthless.

If they submit an application for another trial in April 2019, they might start in dosing early 2020, and finish in 2022 or 2023. Such a trial could also be inconclusive or a flop.

Still a long way off, lots of risk and basically the headline Phase 3 results from April 2018 are already telling you its a flop.

Since it failed the Phase 3 trial there must be doubt over the rest of the data and their other drugs and perhaps that explains why they were never progressed.

One last thought. There is no placebo control in the extension trial. But what if the number of patients reporting zero anti dsDNA continues to rise? Who cares about a control when patients are being cured? To remind people, the anti dsDNA score is now being used as the de facto standard in the latest lupus trials by both GSK and AZN to determine inclusion in a lupus trial.

To be clear. This subset were screened for heightened anti dsDNA. In 5 patients out of 70 it went from heightened to zero. Fact. That's a pretty phenomenal placebo :)
