Possibly! - Reading the Bloomberg bit from Apple - that's a blatant lie about informing IMG about their intentions in 2015!! Apple don't inform anyone about anything for a start!

But early last year Apple said it had held talks ref buying IMG, Yet apparently it told IMG in 2015 it would no longer need it's products, somebody is telling porkies, because it can't all be true.
Can't trust any of them, coz it's all about the money.
Hopefully Take over news soon, though I'm enjoying the activity!

Apple still 3rd biggest shareholder though, so they can definitely be obstructive re any proposed sale / buyer.
They can also dump their stock at any time.
Powerful enemy to have !

My guess is that small speculators who thought that Apple would buy IMG have sold in a short period of time and shorters have added to this pushing the price down. Around 400,000 shares traded in total since mid-morning so small beer in the scheme of things.

To me all this "possibly" means is that Apple are not bidding for IMG but who seriously thought they would?

Probably explains the drop although I don't see anything that should really affect the share price other than Apple's confidence that it won't infringe IMG IP and teh suggestion that it won't bid for IMG.
