18/4/2007 17:06 | if they dont this year i give up and will never look at them again. If they do they will be on a very low P/E at this price. I guess it will be down to write off's. They do trendy stuff as well at Yates and slug and lettuce. B&Q is another I think, and Pizza express if I remember right. Also they are now responsible for the marriott hotel chain musical offerings. | matt9991
18/4/2007 17:02 | have they ever actually made a profit? what are the prospects that they will this year? looks interesting. though obviously the PE thing at the top of this thread is nonsense since they don't actually make a profit at the mo. are these the people responsible for that really annoying muzuk that you get in supermarkets? | danski
18/4/2007 16:55 | if it wasnt for the depreciation of intangible assets the company would have been very much in the black. In fact the company has written off almost £4m in the last 2 years. Seems a lot for such a small company, does it not? I am sorely tempted to get back in. | matt9991
18/4/2007 16:24 | I think director buys are an indicator on certain occasions. Note SMC where there was director buying after the fall from 190 to 130 and then a month later the shares fell to 55p, so its not always a good idea to back director buying blindly. However, when the FD buys i take a lot more notice! If he or she doesnt know the value of the company nobody does. In this case its a fairly substantial increase to his holding as well. I bought in at 11p or thereabouts and was tempted to sell a few at around 20p but have held on and will continue to do so, and may even add a few now. Foz. | fozzie

18/4/2007 16:20 | fd of a small co splashing £60K on shares is quite a positive sign, i'd say. looking at the chart, i see that these flat lulls are often followed by strong surges. how badly did the latest results underperform by? is it likely to start turning a profit soon? | danski
18/4/2007 16:13 | Does not say a lot does it... or does it? Are they likely to make a negative statement whilst at the same time the FD is putting his own cash in? | partimetrader

10/4/2007 13:03 | Scotsman2 Start of new financial year - people taking profits from over the last 12 months or simply escaping following the indifferent results. I'm keeping mine as I think these are far too cheap now. Considering topping up this week. | jgscott
10/4/2007 12:40 | results were a month ago, why the fall today ? | scotsman2

21/3/2007 09:24 | Three north Derbyshire companies have won accolades in the eBusinessAwards for 2007 run by the East Midlands Development Agency. Chesterfield-based Imagesound beat 25 other finalists to the top prize as eBusiness of the Year 2007, after demonstrating how they use technology to increase profits and improve customer fulfilment. Two other local companies were successful - Cruise Ahead Ltd, a specialist travel agency won the Best eBusiness Start-up award and material development company NetComposites scooped the award for the Best Use of eBusiness. Over 100 entries from across the East Midlands were received from a host of new companies who have realised the benefits of using ICT to run their business. As well as their overall victory Imagesound, specialists in media and music, won the category for Increased Exports Through The Use of ICT. Another Chesterfield company, Hike Bike and Ride Ltd, was highly commended in the same category.
