I thought it was originally for 250k and now at 480k, still quite a jump from the original TU and still 30k ahead from the last one (450k)

The Oct 4 update was for 450k profit, the August update was for 250k.

Yes to almost double profit expectations in a month is good going and shows how prudent they are being. Wouldnt be surprised to see share price approach 15p in coming days.

The PBT has shot up, it was updated at 250k a month back and now it's 480k, quite a stunning update.

Indeed, I was wondering if they'd do 7 to 8m sales for coming year, they also have new prototype products coming into production and they do seem to get their market understanding spot on.

Yes they have an adfitional .6m of sales. Gives some idea of the current run rate so perhaps target for this year will be 7 to 8m. So profits 1.0 to 1.5m pe of 10 to 15 which is not demanding for a rapidly growing company.

Hello jugu, don't think i remember you posting here before so welcome. Yes i have real faith in this (but i have been here for circa 14 years). I think i understand the business plan and your comment about the market looking limited would possibly be fair ( although even within this market i still see considerable upside), however i believe that Bill is looking to new , specialised avenues to explore. It is also fairly clear, reading the forward thinking that acquisitions are a real possibility and i don't think with the Board's experience in larger businesses that becoming organically a bigger operation, holds many fears. I am also very keen to hear about the linescan product as this opens up a whole new vista for production line scanning, whether that may include medical or not is purely conjecture. The company was fairly well stress tested in meeting unusually large orders and delivering on time. So with all things my price target is optimistic but overall not unreasonable assuming further success in any of the above possibilities.
I do speak from quite a position of self interest so , as usual, check it all out!

Must admit the temptation was too great at 12p and i sold half my holding. I don't regret thst at all, after all a profit is a profit and that was a good one. Trouble is i'm now sitting on cash which is a bit boring. Having had a good look around i still can't see anything with such good potential upside in the short term. It's not a fortune but i think i'll have to put half my ill gotten gains back in the game tomorrow.

Yes and if that's a big seller out of the way, for now, perhaps we can find some support at this level. Always going to have selling into strength. Won't be a straight line and all that.
