Just made a small initial ISA purchase at 8.9p following an excellent presentation by the management team at Mello. Margins and ROI excellent, balance sheet should hold up, recent turnaround impressive in what must have been a tricky situation, and, IMV, the potential to keep expanding the applications for their technology to continue current growth rates for some years to come. Given the apparent operational gearing this could prove to be a gem.

Hi Peter, don't think we will hear anything much before the pre close update. I'm guessing this will be in a couple of weeks or so looking at last year's timing. I'm very optimistic especially as we seem to have consolidated at the current level. If the outlook is for further growth and new products then i can see a fairly swift journey into the teens and beyond. Increased profits will further underpin.

Looks like one or two attendees to davidosh's Mello dinner were impressed enough to spend some money.

Any new information imparted?

Just to let you all know that shareholders and potential investors in Image Scan are very welcome to attend my Mello dinner event next Monday when Bill Mawer CEO, Vince Deary, sales director and Tim Jackson non exec director will be presenting the company following the latest update.

These events are well attended and a great opportunity to ask questions about the company and its products and markets.

Please email me via the website if you would like to join us...

The 31,546 @ 8.87 was a buy as I've had a little top up. Probably enough... for now. ;o) GLA

News soon on the Precision Linescan Detector? The most recent update was in April:
"The development phase of the government grant supported project to design a new generation of Precision Linescan Detectors has come to an end and the prototype will be on display for the first time at the Security and Counter Terror exhibition at Olympia in May. The outstanding pre-launch tasks relate to final optimisation of the software and transfer to production."

I eventually gave up on that a year or two ago, a bit painful,
but I hope it comes good for the ones that remain.

Thanks B. well I was always optimistic! Faith came a bit later along with new management. Not sure exactly when we started this pilgrimage but twelve years ago at least.

Would be nice to see our other horse grow a fourth leg.......

Good to see non news driven tick up this morning and also Cantors on the bid. I guess new "buyers" entering prior to pre close update. Good consolidation recently building a base for the next level. Well done IGE!

What will be telling here is the pre close update in a few weeks. The guidance in the recent update left five weeks remaining to gain further "weight". Whilst it is probably unlikely the t/o will increase much more I thought the forecast profit looked quite conservative based on gross margin and last year's profit t/o ratio coupled with a recent history of not over promising! I'm optimistic.

I researched this when BM took over and he started reforming the operations as one would expect, so started buying in at sub 2p, still buying recently at the 7p level and likely to continue buying.

Everyone should do their own research.

Sorry if a +262% verified track record since Jan 2015 is unsatisfactory.

This one, IGE, looks a bit of a punt - I'm long £10k/pt. Let's see what happens over the next year or two.

Regards, Paul.

(Thanks David, but let's ignore the trolls)

yes indeed and I bought in as a result. Rapid increase in orders.....reads well!

Bill Mawer, Chairman and CEO of Image Scan, said: "I have been delighted by the response of our staff and our supply chain partners to the rapid increase in our order book. The manufacturing facility in Loughborough is busier than at any time since I joined the business.

While we still have some work to do to finalise delivery schedules with our customers, I am confident we should achieve at least this level of performance and will start the new year with a very healthy order book."
