18/7/2022 09:31 | It looks like Nybolt is getting their technology into production this year initially for domestic appliances but working on car batteries. Their technology is based on Nb2O5/WO3 systems, probably something like Nb16W5O55 or Nb18W16O93. They claim that the time to 90% charge will be less than 5 minutes with power and durability increasing 10 fold. That could potentially wipe out the competition for car batteries. If it works for cars the main problem will be that a rate of charging like that would melt the copper wiring going to your house. | this_is_me
18/7/2022 09:16 | Baden Hill's Dr Tom McColm discusses Ilika's downward movement in share price, Goliath and what to expect over the coming year - | ga_dti
14/7/2022 09:12 | Latest DT interview with Graeme Purdy discussing progress for the year ended 30th April 2022: | ga_dti
13/7/2022 22:36 | Good luck with that, Robert. From the chart, it looks very like a trader's stock. Chart says it will be a buy at 20p. | horneblower
13/7/2022 21:25 | Yep wait. This is not a traders stock, if there are any left that is. Investing is a long term buy and hold game. Short term traders should go and play the silly bitcoin game | robertspc1
13/7/2022 19:02 | "IKA always very careful with their words..." Indeed, they speak much but say almost nothing. e.g. from today's RNS: "Patent Position Building Ilika's intellectual property portfolio in solid-state batteries has continued to be a focus this year. Ilika believes its patents ring-fence and protect critical IP to avoid competitors working around a single patent. Ilika now maintains a portfolio of 25 granted patents, as well as trade secrets in solid-state batteries." Actally, nearly all the patents are from years ago. The most recent, granted April '22, was first filed in 2017. Interesting that they talk about trade secrets. What are these? It's all smoke and mirrors. "Ilika is developing low-cost printing processes suitable for manufacturing solid state batteries several orders of magnitude larger than miniature Stereax batteries." More bs. It's screen-printing. Why not call it so? | horneblower
13/7/2022 17:53 | Not quantumscape.has been exposed a s fraud and investors wanting their money back. Only right IKA returns to pre-hype levels.Nothing fraudulent in IKA. They haven't shown their cell data!.But its.no.secret their systems built.on same.solid state conductor material. So same.issues exist with those materials. One that QS said they had overcome......I.mena generally.thing can look nice.at thin films.. scaling.os always the problem. IKA always very careful with their words... | officerdigby
13/7/2022 17:35 | Not the most earth shattering webinar but usual reassurance. Stereax has customers lined up, Goliath development going well etc. No big move until an OEM partner arrives on the scene. Will just continue to add on weakness | robertspc1
13/7/2022 08:53 | It looks like the knife hasn't hit the floor yet and people are fed up and selling. There is certainly huge potential if the technology proves to be a lot better than anyone else's and product is great value for money. Meanwhile I am just glad that I sold out last year at over 4 times the current share price. I may well buy back in at some point in the future. | this_is_me
13/7/2022 08:09 | Taken the opportunity to add a few. Valuation reflects the risks but not the potential Goliath opportunity. | robertspc1
13/7/2022 07:57 | Usual cautious statement etc. No CFO news or Goliath technical update. Should be some interesting questions this afternoon | robertspc1
13/7/2022 07:16 | So, stereax products to be ready by end of 22. That’s a bit more like it. Lots of patents added to the process. They are building a viable and relevant product set. | kenjen1
12/7/2022 09:37 | So results tomorrow yes. I can’t see the stereax roll out being delayed again. No way. They bought themselves months of contingency in may by saying roll out was beginning next year. I think commencement of sales will be this calendar year. Defo. There is another tweet this morning about stereax. Are they really going to tweet today about stereax then tomorrow say it’s not going to plan? The question here is can they get the recipes correct and how quickly. We will find out tomorrow :) | kenjen1
11/7/2022 12:23 | So results on Weds. As flagged they won't be that interesting. I expect Stereax demand to be pushed out again which would be a short term negative. Would really like a proper technical update on Goliath but suspect that will get usual cautious update. CFO news would be good too. Suspect I'll be adding more later in the week | robertspc1
10/7/2022 17:56 | The Koreans, Chinese or Americans will probably come up with something before these guys. | a.fewbob
10/7/2022 17:52 | I really want to believe!! Are their any interviews or write ups that give a bit more meat? | a.fewbob
10/7/2022 17:50 | Just read Ilikas Goliath scale up feasibility RNS. What do you guys make of it? My first impression is that it all looks very shaky. I mean, all this time and they don’t even know if the tech is cost effective. The RNS has zero enthusiasm. | a.fewbob
09/7/2022 08:42 | Rogk, you may be right. | horneblower |
