Posted at 27/3/2024 08:14 by robertspc1 They did one a few years ago, think it was followed by a fund raising but I think this is about getting a bigger investor base ie getting the share price up before a fundraising. Hopefully it will get more analysts following too |
Posted at 21/3/2024 16:13 by robertspc1 Mentioned before but as Neuralink is in the news again, I think many investors may be missing the opportunity that Stereax could open up in the Medtech world. Miniature batteries offer big improvements over current coin cells and the pace of change in the sector is staggering |
Posted at 20/2/2024 22:00 by robertspc1 Now it's Ensurge rocketing on news of its solid state lithium micro battery getting commercial traction. Company cites extraordinary levels of interest and demand across multiple sectors. Expects to close number of contracts with significant US$ upfront fees. Maybe Stereax has more potential than investors realise |
Posted at 15/12/2023 08:26 by rogk hxxps://www.ilika.coThis is well out of date and I'm sure there was a more recent updated list that has now disappeared !? The newer list I saw had very few II shareholdings from what I remember but I don't remember the date on it. Someone needs to ask the company to re issue the latest shareholder analysis. |
Posted at 20/9/2023 17:10 by robertspc1 Positive investor presentation. Six OEMs have signed up for A sample Goliath evaluation next year. CEO confident Goliath has USPs to be very competitive with other solid and semi solid state EV batteries |
Posted at 18/9/2023 12:27 by robertspc1 AGM and investor presentation on Weds. Would be fantastic if they could share more on Goliath but I suspect we will get the usual bland statements. Still I think there is more happening in the background |
Posted at 01/9/2023 19:16 by horneblower BARD is Googles new Expert AI program.I tried it out with the following question... "Is Ilika plc going to produce a commercially acceptable EV battery?" Here is what it wrote... "Ilika plc is a British materials science company that is developing solid-state batteries for electric vehicles (EVs). Solid-state batteries are a promising new technology that could offer a number of advantages over traditional lithium-ion batteries, including higher energy density, faster charging, and greater safety. Ilika has been developing solid-state batteries for several years, and they have made significant progress. In 2023, they announced the development of their Goliath solid-state battery technology, which is designed for use in EVs. The Goliath battery is said to have a energy density of 400 Wh/kg, which is significantly higher than the energy density of lithium-ion batteries. The Goliath battery is also said to be able to charge to 80% in just 15 minutes. Ilika is still in the early stages of development, but they have received funding from the UK government and from a number of private investors. They are also working with a number of potential partners, including automotive manufacturers and battery manufacturers. It is still too early to say whether Ilika will be able to produce a commercially acceptable EV battery. However, they are making significant progress, and they have the potential to make a major impact on the EV market. Here are some of the challenges that Ilika will need to overcome in order to produce a commercially acceptable EV battery: The cost of solid-state batteries is still high, and Ilika will need to find a way to reduce the cost before they can be mass-produced. Solid-state batteries are more difficult to manufacture than lithium-ion batteries, and Ilika will need to develop a reliable and scalable manufacturing process. Solid-state batteries are still in the early stages of development, and there is a risk that they may not perform as well as expected in real-world conditions. Despite these challenges, Ilika is a well-funded company with a strong team of scientists and engineers. They are making significant progress, and they have the potential to be a major player in the EV battery market." It may or may not be useful, bit it is quite interesting. |
Posted at 01/8/2023 14:25 by rogk hxxps://www.investorCheck out Page 16 on 16th April 2020 Investor meeting. What happened to the forecast revenue FY22? FY23? |
Posted at 01/8/2023 09:14 by rogk Did anyone ask at the recent investor meets where the sales forecast set in the presentation a few years back disappear to? Those forecasts seem to have gone up in smoke. Is that the real reason Ilika is trying to transfer operations to Cirtec ? |
