If its Kerogen that is downsizing here, I'm not surprised in the least as they are completely bungling investors that are not only overzealous with their investments but cause needless demises in their holdings and clearly have no understanding whatsoever as to their risk appetite but then again what do you expect with the reckless gambling of Asia, Macau anyone!

Seller, can't be Kog or Royal London, as the share sells exceed their holdings.
Possibly it's Kerogen, the seller.

Kerogen has exited a few O&G companies in the last 3-4 months.

I doubt placing because of RBL, and they would have done it above 20p today.


It's HSBC Holdings plc (8 Canada Square)

I believe the share dealing account is under HSBC UK nominee Ltd based. A big difference between the Group and a wholly-owned subsidiary.

Due to ring-fencing, they separated their Holdings and other business, most have been transferred to Birgiminham ( HSCB UK nominee the UK), since 2016/2017


The RNS refers to the Holdings plc (GROUP). HSBC is very big on ESG now, as we are led to believe.

The amount of shs churning every day, possibly Kerogen is fully out or very close now. It would be nice if there's another new holder. The shs must be coming somewhere.

Definitely something fishy going on with the share price at the moment. CANA have too many shares to sell . If they get completed then will be a massive share price rise however very surprised at how many they have to sell.

Major shareholders as of 31st August 2021 does not show HSBC who had a notifiable position in June 21.Could this mean HSBC is a nominee for one of the named existing major shareholders ?

They probably did clear a overhang earlier.

Then all the day traders saw a whopping £100-200 profit and all piled out creating another one.

Might be right but if they want cash they do have a fair amount of headroom with their RBL agreement still.
They also missed 2 slam dunk opportunities to place, firstly with the results and then the dreaded friday night RNS so am beginning to relax on that one.
