Sounds like barclays stockbrokers are falling apart and a lot of accounts are being transferred out, IG should pick up some very good business here at little or now acquisition cost ...

Cinquepercento - Agree re share price moves, which is why I'm not too bothered by this last two days of what I consider profit taking after a decent rise.

My break even price is 629p Wish I had the funds to take on more today but yesterday took my last free cash....

I'm too old to be interested in being a long or even medium term holder of any company's shares so the Main question (for me) is whether the increase (I hope for) as ex dividend date approaches, will make selling prior to that date or after that date the most attractive.

What is your break even price?

This share does seem to have periodical corrections but this one has come a lot sooner than the two previous ones.

It tends to correct by about 50% of each of its gains if you look at the charts.

Sort of two steps forward and then one step back and then up again.

When I see an earlier than usual correction,I hear warning bells but too late now.

I have topped up at 638 . :-)

Cinquepercento - I meant I'll wait to see what happens next week when the pros are supposed to return to their desks, before deciding whether to continue holding or run for cover.

Still in profit but not by much atm!

I'll hang on until the serious traders return next week, can't see many turning away almost 23p dividend.

Can only assume profit taking after a decent rise from the 450p low. That along with a 30k director sell last week. Now it's stops being hit & nervous selling. As is the norm, the way down is always rapid....

The 50 & 200SMA's have now crossed, as forecast, and we see IGG continuing to move up. Sadly for me IGG didn't come down to meet my price so I leave any immediate term gains to you good holders.
