Slightly ironic @woodhawk in that iWeb are invariably the slowest of my brokers-often a day or two later than the rest. I have stock in one that has paid today(the due date) in three different brokers but not iweb yet for example :-( That certainly doesn't say much for IG if they are even worse ;-)

I have complained to IG about late payment of divis many times - I reckon average in my case was 3-5 days late (I also use iWEB who are always on the ball and invariably pay within a day of actual payment date). All sorts of shoddy excuses from IG. Had been getting better lately - not convinced it will last.

can anyone who uses IG tell me about their divi schedules? i am used to dividends arriving a day late but now they are not showing in the morning of the day after they are due. apad

As can be seen from last weeks action on Plus500 the market is concerned about market losses. IGG hedges all trades so wouldn't you think potentially this might be a good position to hold (excludes the market risk of Plus500 - the VIX has been high for so long) .

More used to seeing big moves in this share but maybe thats mostly on published news/results from this and similar companies. It has been my habit to buy on over-reaction to news starting with the tightening up of gearing on retail clients, and several times since. It remains my current most successful trading share as well as excellent dividends

I see Robbie Burns has a short term target of just under 900 for IG group. His targets seem to burst through quite regularly. I am pretty confident this will be exceeding £9 on current fundamentals More if there is an upgrade Ped

Strong business here, clean balance sheet with great dividend and huge opportunities for growth. Happy to hold.

The share price has under performed since the last update so imo we'd need something special in the next report to see anywhere near 900p.

Added here today. I'm expecting IG to start ticking up towards the new year. Short term Target £9, more if there is an upgrade

I rang them in the end, seems it's the Old Set Up which I use, they've stopped the Flash working so I have to use the new screens, which is a bind because the watchlist and the Working orders do not fit on the screen with overlap!

I don't have a problem getting dividends paid. Not an answer to your question gbh2, but I don't have a problem with Opera and have found it a little bit better than Firefox. rgcol1 looks as if it has a post every 2 years! apad
