Decided to get another batch at 1.03p as I can’t see any D4E being below a penny - hopefully closer to 2.5p (but I understand why Dave sold - thought about it a few times myself recently)

I take CT point that existing shareholders might end up with less than a third of the new share issue post any D4E but no point selling atm although no compelling reason to buy either!

Just got to wait it out, mm's are looking for blood again as normal with IDE.

They should convert at a decent premium so probably worth the wait and our escape out of this stock

..and a cheery morning to you too - it depends on the conversion price - the last trading update was extremely positive and we have known about the company wanting to remove the debt for a while so this isn’t new - but if the plan is to go private they should say so!

Conversions of loans usually wipe out nearly all PI’s value, and often result in being delisted in time.

True - but like Dave (I believe) i already have a seven figure holding so it’s tempting to keep adding but i get wary when a share becomes 25% of my portfolio (which has happen this month thanks to LVCG and previously TNT so maybe I might get a hat trick lol)

Well at least you can now buy at 1.1999p - not that I plan to add until we get some decent news

Lets hope they do not pay back the loan.

Then IDE get a load of 1p stock

Apparently IDE Connect is now breaking even and may be in profit for the second half - makes you wonder what they are doing differently!!

Meanwhile clco is off to the races. (I hold both, including 1% of clco)

The part they shifted to cloudcoco was the dead head part.
Better gone imho.

Fair enough - maybe Cloudcoco shares will double to compensate (presuming a loan conversion) but I can’t recall many mentioning it was a bad deal at the time - seems like they wanted rid at literally any price - if they ever have an online investor presentation it can be raised..

Yep, I bet when it's turned around it will make £2-5 mil profits and thus be worth £15-30 million

Sold for £250k

I'm completely aware that it was a drag on the group, I know IDE connect very well, but the deal was an EXTREMELY bad one for IDE shareholders, to the point I would call it dereliction of duty from the directors, I would personally have paid double and still think I was getting an absurdly good deal.

Connect was loss making and a drag on the company so that’s why they sold it - plus they might be converting the loan to Cloudcoco into shares later this year - now they can focus on the high growth remaining business - but obviously I take your point about the assets..

Although a few months away be worth holding for results day.

With £2.1 mil ebitda profit already banked for half year the full year results should look great and give the shares a good spike.
