IAF Group Plc (the "Company") announces that it has entered into a conditional
contract to sell its building in Kiev known as 6 Ivana Franko. The property has
been held for resale as outlined in the Chairman's statement in the Annual
Report and Accounts 2002.


The sale is structured as a sale of the special purpose company (Aphrodite
Investments Limited) which holds the property for a total consideration
(including repayment of inter-group indebtedness) of US$1.7 million (compared
with a book value of #1 million). The consideration will be adjusted at
completion to reflect items such as rent and service charge outstanding or paid
in advance, etc. The consideration has been paid into an escrow account in
London.


The Purchaser is an affiliate of certain of the tenants of the building and will
be carrying out its own due diligence. Completion is set for 15 April 2003, but
the Purchaser can withdraw at its discretion at any time until 29 March 2003.
If the Purchaser does withdraw then arrangements have been agreed for affiliates
of the Purchaser to rent the building at the current rental terms until 31
January 2005.


Subject to completion the net proceeds after expenses will be used to reduce the
Company's overdraft and fund certain other working capital requirements. The
sale continues IAF's withdrawal from peripheral activities.

Let's sit back and take stock here of my so called "ramp"

Fom my posting on 24th Jan'02 on IAF we now have an increase of around 150% in this stock.
Please show me a stock on the LSE that has performed better and I'll crawl away a happy man.

Now wouldn't you have made a tidy sum on this one in 7, yes SEVEN, trading days.

You just keep thinking because that's what you'll be good at

Regarding IAF
06.12.01 :+0, (3.5) at the AGM chairman said.. "Since the preliminary announcement in October there has been no discernable improvement in general trading conditions. The Company is implementing a number of marketing initiatives to generate cash flow from its aviation assets, but the success of this is uncertain. The Company is in negotiations with its bankers regarding renewal of banking facilities for the current financial year. The discussions are continuing and the Company is hopeful that a satisfactory conclusion can be reached shortly. At the AGM today all resolutions were proposed and duly passed without amendment."

We have a stock here that is way below NAV of 17p
The "respect" is for the attrocities.
IAF is involved with the aviation industry and the problems that this industry is going through right now have knocked the stuffing out of IAF.
IMHO one to keep an eye on.
