thanks for posting Spangle. It is a good summary and I hope that it brings I3E to the attention of new investors although it was a shame that the author didnt explain his methodology to coming that valuation!

Re development near existing infrastructure, Serica recently announced a rig booked to drill North Eigg this summer 2022. Gas not oil mind.

Here it is, he was after a cheaper buy-in.24p before I consider selling some.Gl allG_G_G, Posts: 1,583, Price: 11.00RE: Surprised...Fri 22:35Hi Joe, sorry just saw your msg. The first trade I had a limit at 10.90 and it executed @ 10.825. I then had a limit order @ 10.85p for the second tranche that filled at 10.67. I also had a limit set at 10.85p for 75k today, which filled at 10.83p. Quite happy with my holding now and completely done. I literally have no spare cash left to invest here or anywhere else for that matter. Just need the bloody f/o to get sorted, or even better they do a +5kboepd deal (oil leaning) on similar metrics fully funded by debt. Both will put a 5p rocket under this share and hold it at higher levels. And even better still, someone makes a +20p offer for the lot. Yes it would undervalue us, but a bird it he hand and all that. We now have 2 weeks until Xmas and they have a couple of major pieces of news to deliver. GLA

Spangle,
I agree the mood music is -ve in Scotland and lukewarm in the UK. Oddly, this seems to have come to the forefront since COP, not before or during. Could the bolder ‘green’ stance be associated with a dip in the oil price? Well that didn’t last, so as prices creep up again and Omicron fear diminishes, get ready for $100+ a barrel.
At this point politicians will have their feet held right back to the fire.
TBH I’m happier with i3e focussing on Canada. Serenity (at the current share price can’t be worth jack, although if the plug was pulled the MMs would make a meal out of it.

I don't think the mood music in the political circles in respect of North Sea O&G developments is helping sentiment with Serenity.

The wee clicky pen north of the border has gone from basing independence economics on oil at $100/bbl to being opposed to new developments, thanks to her need for an alliance with the Greens in the Scottish parliament.

And the UK boys, who make energy policy based on public opinion shaped by the BBC, have hardly shown much support for the industry either. Shell has walked away from Cambo citing inadequate economics - this may also be true, but having invested enough time and effort to get it to FID, it's a strange time to conclude that. To many observers, it feels like for just 30% of a non-op venture, they don't want the reputational challenge of Cambo.

If the OGA does roll right over and cease approving new developments on principle, then Serenity is effectively worthless.

If I were thinking of taking a meaningful stake in it, then I'd at least be including conditions precedent around the ability to walk away under these circumstances in any deal with I3E, if not, reconsidering completely.

And yes, I think they should change the company name.

Patience we are potentially only 2 sessions away from making a new high. Just glad we held our own today There are very very few stocks making new highs at present most are range bound

I assume continuing radio silence revolves around the fact they are working on debt facility to apply final leverage in Serenity negotiations, before deciding how to allocate funds between Canadian projects and Serenity. Assume these are all inter-linked and I3E would prefer to come out with clear game plan, once they know what they are doing themselves. Given Liberator experience, assume they will be very conscious of managing the risks between the projects. Anybody have a view on whether they could delist from AIM in the future which I think would hurt UK shareholders? Assume not, if most of shares traded on AIM, not TSX?
