26/10/2021 22:19 | There a lot of shares in issue so obviously a little sluggish. Second, there is a dividend causing a drag on progress. You have to ask yourself, are you a longterm holder? If yes, then the value will out and you’ll probably reinvest your divi at these prices. Short term holders are getting frustrated and will already be eyeing their next move. Me? I’m a LT hold so don’t care if we take a year to get to 30p. | pretax2
26/10/2021 21:21 | I just start to get concerned when really good results/statements are met with little or no reaction. No worries, back in the bottom drawer for me. | fozzie

26/10/2021 21:01 | Fozzie This is the reason: Basically the market needs to absorb and churn £40 million of stock. Since July , retail punters may be involved in say £5-£10 million but the rest need to be bought up by institutional investors. Typical that the big placees will flip them for 10-15% profit... July 2021 i3 Energy plc ("i3", "i3 Energy" or the "Company") Strategic Central Alberta Acquisition Delivers Strong Free Cash Flow Proposed Conditional Placing and PrimaryBid Offer i3 Energy plc (AIM:I3E) (TSX:ITE), an independent oil and gas company with assets and operations in the UK and Canada, is pleased to announce that its wholly owned Canadian subsidiary has signed into escrow, pending receipt of irrevocable commitments for the Placing (as defined below), a definitive agreement with Cenovus Energy Inc., a senior Canadian oil and gas producer, to acquire certain petroleum and infrastructure assets within i3's Central Alberta core area (the "Assets"), for a total consideration of CA$65 million (US$53.7 million) (the "Acquisition").
