All the jive talk yet its still 11p, reason being every rise is being sold into by the Fund managers, its no conspiracy. Im struggling to understand how so many stupid people can be on the one BB... So now we are in the situation where PI's only buy on the dips, its a stand off.................25p/30p is a fantasy this year......

Discussions continue with potential farm-in partners for the Serenity field appraisal drilling programme. Indicative terms have been agreed in principle but we await confirmation of funding commitments from counterparties before finalising and executing documentation. I3E probably want to see at least written confirmation of the financial commitment or perhaps even funds set aside or the likes perhaps into an Escrow account to show financial commitment. Just in case the likes of a large company push it down their priority list. Sure companies like that could easily afford both drilling and developmental costs, but I3E just seem to want to nail it down this time. Which is fair enough, this is a high priority target to I3E. Terms for the possible carry must be agreed on principle at least but its proof of funding commitment seems to be the last piece of the puzzle. If its one of our neighbours like Repsol, they're due to have a rig on Tain early next year, perhaps I3E are insisting on putting that into the campaign. Who knows, perhaps we'll find out shortly.

20128 - which is what threw me a little - why the comments about funding - surely it would be just for senior mgt. approval as I can't believe companies of that size would not have "budgeted" accordingly for such a "high profile" tie in which "probably" aided the total project economics?

True. In the mean time though acquisition due to complete on or around the 20th August, according to your broker note its generated $10m since the effective date, that's a nice cash boost towards the completion price. Total 2P of 133mmboe after completion is stunning.

Agreed 100%, current valuation here compared to most peers is nuts, we should be pushing through 30p. Even that valuation by the broker for Canada is really bare bones and nothing in for the immense upside that Canada offers in terms of developmental potential (hundreds of deve well locations). If we get that farmout concluded with either the words Repsol or Ithaca in it we'll pop.

Maybe if others read the full article they would realise that I3 given a little more time will give investors large returns for their investment.

Well their announcement that they have essentially agreed terms for Serenity made me buy more yesterday - the low key way it was made is a marked contrast to the exaggerated claims re a farm out agreement 2 years ago that never materialised. This time I think they are understating their achievement.

Its currently up 5.9% according to ADVFN, its a good idea to know the difference between up and down when using ladders too. When it comes to your investing though I'm not surprised you cannot tell the difference.
