Excellent, confident AGM statement - definitely a hint of further contracts to come:

""Trading in the first three months of the new financial year to 30 September 2012 is in line with management expectations, with software sales showing a strong performance. As previously announced, in November 2011, we secured our first contract with a Canadian bank through our channel partner IBM, which establishes i-design in a new territory. We are optimistic of further new contracts for our customer engagement software, joono, over the remainder of the financial year.

We believe that growth opportunities for the Group remain significant and i-design is well positioned to continue to enlarge its banking customer base as well as expand revenues from third party advertising sales."

Yes it's upbeat, in that they are positive about the future, but there's nothing of note in it whatsoever.

Todays AGM News [very upbeat should put the shares on a new high as the city twigs on.]

Looks like you hve timed your buy to perfection once again Glasshalfull. Welcome btw. ;-)

Atlast its starting to turn. I wouldnt be surpirsed if we see further contract win announcements next week myself, as these are very prolific at winning them lately.

I'd say people have started buying because it is oversold after what was a very good set of results.

Dvda - Speaking for myself, I was a buyer as the shares were off 30% in just 2 months despite full year results beating all expectations. Ive noticed a few shares which have experienced a weak holder bailing out in the last few days - TCN, SAL and finally ANP.

From the results RNS they intimated they would be providing an update at the AGM and Arbuthnot also flagged this fact on Monday. I would imagine they have something worth telling and therefore seemed a decent time to stick my toe in.

BLASH ;-)

GHF

Are people really buying just becaue the AGM is coming up? Seems a bit odd to me if that is the case, as AGM statements rarely cotain any news of note. The share price didn't exactly motor after last year's AGM.

Reasonably large transactions at around 45p-46p - I wonder if a seller has been cleared out?

GHF, good to see you here - as usual your timing s/be spot on! The AGM statement on Tuesday should provide a nice launch pad imho.

I noticed on the news yesterday the first self-service beer machine had been launched (in a pub in Barnsley, where else?). This had a nice screen to tell you what was happening. Then there's all the self-service checkouts springing up in every supermarket, vending machines everywhere.....

Since IDG's products don't prolong the task at hand, but to do bring benefits for both retailer/bank and customer for no additional cost, surely the target market here is increasing exponentially?

I called this one wrong. Should have listened to you Rivaldo ;-)

Having has the opportunity to read through recent RNSs, accounts, the Edison & Arbuthnot notes I have to say that I've been extremely impressed with progress made to-date and considerable revenue opportunities home and abroad. The fact that they achieved profitability a year earlier than forecast was the clincher.

I made an initial purchase a few days ago and looking to top up this morning but now being quoted a higher price. Make of that what you will.

Interested to see many of the usual suspects populating the thread ic2, cfro, cambium, BBD, Greenroom and CR popping up as well. Feel in good company.

Look forward to the AGM statement.

GHF

Bargain time here now imho.

Arbuthnot had this to say on Monday in their morning update - note the AGM update coming next Tuesday:

"Monday 16 January

i-design* Strong Buy
IDG.L / 48.50p / £6.8m / TP: 90p
Event: Other Likely % change in earnings forecasts: No Change

During calendar 2011 i-design's share price responded very positively to the improving trading momentum in FY2011. On the back of achieving maiden profitability (substantially ahead of earlier expectations) this culminated in the share price touching 67p (its IPO price in 2007). Since then the share price has fallen back to 49.5p despite the current year getting off to a good start with the announcement of a major contract win in Canada secured via its partner IBM. The next calendar event is the AGM on 24 January, at which we look forward to receiving a further update on trading. In our view, i-design has the potential to build two significant profit streams in software licences and advertising revenues from the existing base. We maintain our EV/sales-derived 90p target price and view the current share price as a buying
opportunity. Strong Buy."

It does, also wonder is those late reported trades today are the end of the seller here as I notice it was the bid that moved up suggesting they are happy to take stock?
