Possible, but with the enormous volume surely *someone's* holding must have changed by at least 1% ??Maybe they are waiting until they have finished selling to declare.

Maybe they have stopped selling and they realise this is going up.

Am struggling to understand how there is not another holdings RNS?

Actually I'm slightly confused. Judging by the apparent effect of the falling oil price on HYR and their comments about it, I would hope a rising oil price would contribute to the differential between the cost of feedstock and the sale price HYR can get. I'm not entirely sure what effect a the oil price has on either though.

There was a discussion earlier which capricious explained, which I thought I had my head around, but not so sure having looked back !

Trump I would agree, however with Canton now back on line and record volumes processed the Oil price/Share price disconnect should become more relevant IMO

If we can hold at this level with continued high (albeit reduced from the last few days) volume then the chart looks to me like it might be ready for a proper breakout next week.Just my view. NAI

I suggest you look back over posts to see how the oil price and HYR's fortunes are not directly related.

I agree that there is plenty of scope for recovery though, although still unsure which combination of circumstances will help and which will hinder.

I've been buying the dips over the past few sessions. I think we have a solid recovery play on our hands. Obvious disconnect between the oil price trend and HYR share price. The seller is facilitating an unnatural market and entry level IMO.

Familiar pattern here, clearly MMs are exercising fine control. Huge buy volume produces tight upticks but much smaller sell volume has us quickly back down, is this purely risk management or setting up the next trades.

interesting lse post from jimi

If you go and check previous RNSs, directors were buying shares at 11p including Chris Ellis. The fire took out Canton completely. At the end of 2015 when Canton came back online it was producing 10.5m litres per annum and the share price was around 4p. We are now producing close to 30m litres (3 times as much) and in positive EBITDA with trains 7 and 8 also coming online over the past few months. The BoD has RNSd an expectation that they expect to move towards 45m litres per annum and have broken record monthly production 3 or 4 times last year. Now do some calculations base don all the RNSs from 2016 and you'll see where I got my 30m litres figure from. Can you explain how an share price of 2p is therefore justified noting there has been no further dilution since 2013

Looks like this is having a breather around the support/resistance at 2.1p.
Would be happier if it was above this line so implying Support!!

Bulgarian,

This is not a pump and dump.

How can you pump and dump a £16m mcap company with 700m+ shares in issue.

Clearly the only interest you hold here is due to certain posters posting.

Why do you not have a look at the RNSs from last year.

This business is going through a process of being turned around and yet due to institutional selling the share price does not reflect the progress made.

Its that simple.

Let us see what the TU brings and what the next few months hold.

I would expect that HYR will make strong progress through 2017.

he approval, Chris Ellis, Chief Executive Officer of Hydrodec said: "ACR approval means that Hydrodec now produces the only oil globally which generates a carbon credit. It is a further demonstration of the world leading nature of our technology and product and reinforces the sustainability element of it to the primary users of transformer oil. Although the initial direct financial contribution of trading the credits may be modest, strategically I expect that over time this will enable Hydrodec to further develop commercial relationships with key transformer manufacturers and utilities in our target markets."

Colin Moynihan, Chairman of Hydrodec added: "The last nine months have seen the continued turnaround and transformation of Hydrodec. Today marks a further important milestone in the Company's progress. Carbon credit approval seals Hydrodec's objective to establish a key role as a clean tech company with genuine market leadership; the first proven 'green oil' technology in the world with the capacity to treat and re-refine used and contaminated oil into high quality, renewable transformer oil."
