14/12/2020 14:55 | yes there is and i am monitoring one due to depart tomorrow to a/n other Offshore Northsea installation, that one due Rotterdam Shell terminal on Friday. We will know more tomorrow morning , the brent price is certainly helping here .A brent price of $26 per barrel covers the Company’s operating costs as well as its general and administrative expenses and the coupon cost of the Convertible. the co year end for accounts is 31/12 so any uplift of oil would be reflected in the cash position of those future accounts that looks better than showing it as stocks on hand. Could be a bit early but never know weather windows , year end, etc all factors to take into account | laserdisc

14/12/2020 09:31 | Happy to see the HUR Bears/Shorts here disagree, certainly no surprise, and all while share price & POO are both on the rise here! As for “Simply Wall Street” analysis, for me, amongst others, it’s done me well so far, and if you care to look at their website, they do outline how their “Fair Value” calculations are made, DYOR. | back2basics1
14/12/2020 09:29 | Wood Mackenzie are forecasting peak oil demand for around 2036 - oil majors are loudly saying that they are putting large sums into green energy while reducing further oil exploration - it would seem not unreasonable to think that this is a recipe for higher future oil prices thus making currently marginal fields quite attractive on a medium/longer term view. | ranald

13/12/2020 20:44 | Extract from Bloomberg Sunday night. "For now, positive trends in fuel consumption are buoying traders’ desire for both real and paper barrels. And there could be more hot money coming down the pipe. At the start of 2021, billions of dollars of commodities investments will be affected by a broader rebalancing of portfolios. The move could attract $8 billion of inflows into Brent and WTI futures, according to Citigroup. “There’s been a distinct shift in the financial oil market,” said Michael Tran, an analyst at RBC Capital Markets. Speculators are buying futures and holding onto them, scared that they’ll miss out on a further rally, he said." | bocase
13/12/2020 14:44 | HUR current share price is currently 4.5p,anyone who post negative or positive posts do so at this valuation, where its been is irrelevant ,if your bearish and it goes up your wrong and vice versa with the bull call, go well people. | whitedukejay
13/12/2020 08:57 | Personally for those that hold I'd prefer that the shares recover to 50p and I'm thus proved wrong and have egg on my face. However what if my model and views around future work programs are near the mark?People with investment here could lose the lot. That's why it's important that individuals make their own decisions. If I and others weren't presenting opposing views to the 90% plus of views that are bullish, then how could individuals take a balanced decision? As Phil Collins says you should listen to both sides of the story then against all odds you may beat Mr Market. | ngms27

11/12/2020 15:49 | Brent Oil’s startling recent rise will significantly provide needed ammunition for any potential planning and/or relating negotiations by HUR. Hence IMO, no news so far here is actually very good news; diligent forward planning, particularly in the offshore O&G sector takes time and should certainly not be rushed, all the signs from the new seemingly more proactive and operationally experienced CEO/Team are that things are moving in the right direction with HUR, and at current company valuations, I see massive potential returns here going forward, of course IMOO, DYOR. | onlylongterm9
11/12/2020 14:50 | I did mention this before, this was the reason for a reduction. Oil production in the third quarter of 2020 was at an average rate of 13,600 bopd, which was lower than the 14,300 bopd average rate in the second quarter. This was as a result of the shut in of the 205/21a-7z well from early August, a controlled shutdown of the FPSO for repairs in August 2020, scheduled annual FPSO maintenance in early September 2020 and a short shut in of the 205/21a-6 well for data gathering purposes towards the end of the period. | deltalo |
