11/12/2020 08:43 | Leoneobull 11 Dec '20 - 05:28 - 21909 of 21912 0 0 1 It ought to be easier to get the FWP signed off with Brent at 50 ..What does this even mean? How are you proposing HUR are going to fund a work programme? | thegreatgeraldo
11/12/2020 08:26 | Thanks jacks it could be a substantial reservoir on its own ,that was the thinking back then. Happy to wait for the review | laserdisc
11/12/2020 05:28 | It ought to be easier to get the FWP signed off with Brent at 50 compared with say dark days of presenting the CMD with Brent at 16 USD....Given the bondholders mainly bought at par, with limited freefloat, I can imagine them kicking down July 2022 down the line and or agreeing to a lower equity conversion price...Let's hope news comes pre end of year....unless it's a catastrophic increase in WC and imminent lights out Hahaha | leoneobull

10/12/2020 20:33 | Here is the Malcy interview with Dr. Trice from back in June 2016 TipTV: It’s interesting with the benefit of hindsight to watch and listen again to this recording. The positive spin given by Dr Trice to what in reality turned out to be a far more speculative and problematic venture than he painted at the time. There’s mention of the Victory sedimentary sandstone on which the Company’s interest is now perhaps being focused. Gas export infrastructure is confidently speculated upon and a 50 to 90 million barrels/8-years duration early production system is offered as a sort of get-out-of-jail ticket. After some 840 millions of capex and a significant corporate bond debt the Company finds itself short of its base case estimate of 200 million barrels recoverable and seems in need of yet more hefty sums to get the show back on the road. Instructive viewing on the perils of investing in E&P; especially for long-term investors. | jacks13

10/12/2020 18:01 | deltalo: "This was trading at 15p back in march when the oil price was last at 50 dollars." You mean when we had more of it.................. | canetois
10/12/2020 17:32 | Indeed....proven reserves pretty much gone in a year's time (taking a best case scenario).....contin ....... still, oil's back over $50!!! 21 the score to beat ;-#)) | thegreatgeraldo
10/12/2020 16:59 | You mean when they said they had over 500m barrels... Less than 6m recoverable at present... Apples and Pears so way over valued on a price comparison metric! Lets see how many down votes I can get, I think my records 21 | ngms27
10/12/2020 16:39 | deltalo 10 Dec '20 - 16:16 - 21894 of 21895 0 2 0 This was trading at 15p back in march when the oil price was last at 50 dollars. ..Hard to know what to make of a comment like this....I've assumed there's no irony involved..... | thegreatgeraldo |
