02/11/2020 17:05 | If Biden gets in this will rocker | kirk 6
02/11/2020 16:53 | From Bluewater site:
Water injection
Capacity (max) 55,000 bwpd
Design pressure 3,500 psia
Oxygen content (max) 10 ppb
Hopefully any required modifications will be minimal...... | fat frank
02/11/2020 16:35 | No.....the excitement is because the AM is going to be modified for Water Injection.
https://www.energyvoice.com/oilandgas/north-sea/273841/bluewater-north-sea-fpsos-modifications/
So it seems they are going to try the Water Injection, what is not said is how long the AM will be out of service during those modifications. | pro_s2009
02/11/2020 16:29 | Interesting movement, albeit on modest volume, on a day when the stock market nor the oil market are offering any support..
Maybe CA have found a pipeline that nobody knew about; which can be used to take the significant residual oil below the OWC to market ;-#)) | thegreatgeraldo
02/11/2020 16:23 | False dawn or some news coming? | jibba jabber
02/11/2020 15:28 | Hur up 10% . Maybe they heard what Biden will do to push up commodities in 2021? | leoneobull
02/11/2020 12:06 | Got the green tee-shirt mate. | thanksamillion
02/11/2020 11:44 | If its the cow pat bit... you should try it.... :)
and if you do fight off a tiny exposure every pub visit. then on that day when you sit next to Mr cough a lot no-mask on the bus... the ready-brek glow of some immunity will be keeping you safe.. just a tiny bit... :)
risk based approach keeps you sane as far as i can see... | dave999dave999
02/11/2020 10:40 | Dave
I could have written that post myself save for a couple of points, at approaching 70 I isolate as much as I can but it doesnt stop me going to quiet pubs twice a week, walking with a friend and enjoying life. You just need know and respect the dangers. | thanksamillion
02/11/2020 10:20 | Agnabeya...he was an MD- as are most of my colleagues and friends.... You real name isn't Donald is it? I mean you are an expert on so many topics..... | tournesol
02/11/2020 09:38 | I never take any medicine unless advised to, and i am rarely i'll, but when it comes to vaccines i'll take any that come my way.
I always eat anything i drop on the floor and pay little attention to sell by dates. I guess i'm just a bit grubby.
Immunity is based on exposure and genetics, and if a vaccine gives me exposure without the down side that is a good thing.
i want my antibodies and more importantly my T cells primed...
my vitamin D is high as i only ever wear a short sleeved shirt..
i was born in the north and now live in London so i have a different view of COLD
i take the attitude that i was born in the 70s, therefore i was exposed to life before we had double glazing and good central heating and anti-bacterial wipes. We didn't sterilise every work surface 100 times a day.
I have eaten everything put in front of me and when i was cold i put on a jumper... therefore i'm lucky, I have no allergies and in most cases i'm reasonably robust.
I spent my childhood in the country, throwing cow pats at my mates off the end of a long stick and nicking and scoffing carrot apples and plums. I've eaten enough dirt to fill a green house, and gone swimming in some pretty disgusting puddles... it appears to have served me well.
you won't catch me in accident and emergency because i spilt candle wax on my hand and it might scar..... a bit needs to be falling off to warrant a trip there....
in my way i am saving the NHS.... when i do accidentally chop a bit off, they can sew it back on.
I'm doing my best to bring my kids up the same.. take whats due when its offered but don't be a burden...is the aim
having caught the odd nasty while on my travels i'm less gung-ho as i approach 50
but a vaccine yes, i'll take that, if it makes me less of a burden on a system i might need to depend on for a true emergency later on in life...YES. | dave999dave999
02/11/2020 09:23 | Come on my son! | the canadian mounted
02/11/2020 09:18 | What an @, all My colleagues are Professors, but your right SitC, better than reading the recent HUR related posts. | thanksamillion
02/11/2020 07:39 | Sense- he was an MD- as are most of my colleagues and friends. Your idiocy -which you are waving like some flag of pride, for some reason- sees you filtered too. Ah- that’s better. Back to the sensible fellows who post on this board. | agnabeya
02/11/2020 06:46 | Keep it going, this is the most entertainment this board has seen all year. Was this ‘chap’ you speak of a flower pot? | senseinthecommon
01/11/2020 23:14 | Sense- from a clinical point of view that (cull) is exactly what many doctors and nurses were saying. The approach was so wrong based on facts- that one chap I knew considered it ‘planned mass murder’. You might not know the premise of ‘herd immunity’- and why should you? But the medical advisors to the govt sure as heck knew. But this isn’t the forum for this kind of discussion. I don’t want to distract from Hur. | agnabeya
01/11/2020 22:29 | Right you are, Agnabeya. I take my previous statement back (ref. respiratory virus). However, the Government culling conspiracy comment is up there with the Flat Earthers. | senseinthecommon
01/11/2020 22:01 | Dont worry folks as soon as the effects of no alcohol purchases after 9pm kicks in you will wonder why they didnt do it sooner | whitedukejay
01/11/2020 21:54 | C'mon Biden. Couldn't give a monkey about the share price let's get that dotard out of Washington. And I don't particularly like Biden either Lol | leoneobull
01/11/2020 19:53 | I remember from the past that agnabeya was a somewhat incendiary character who was a master of making sweeping assertions without evidence, and then angrily filtering anyone that challenged him on those assertions whilst swerving the issue on which he was challenged.Well, the hypothesis still stands. | amr20l7
01/11/2020 19:39 | AMR- Total ignorance??? Act of depravity?? That absolute nonsense aside- yes this particular virus is unprecedented. And the Government had plenty of warning-yet chose to ignore it.
The very fact it was unprecedented and unknown is §the very reason a complete lockdown should have happened as soon as the virus got close. My continued survival is due to the precautions I have taken.
You presume to know all about me? I despise presumptuous people. Filtered. | agnabeya
01/11/2020 19:33 | Sense in common- wrong. This taken from infection control today.com in September.
“ Several recent studies have supported the growing hypothesis that coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is primarily a cardiovascular, and not a pulmonary virus. The narrative that those affected are usually asymptomatic and have very mild or no disease may be false.” | agnabeya
