I'm not worried about selling unless it's Kerogen as the question is then who beyond CA will fund them. I suppose the 9 major bondholders is the other possibility...if they convert the bonds for equity or agree to renegotiate and postpone the bonds.

Disillusionment is not.yet complete? It has fallen from 45p to 2.5p HD. Now it's a hit or bust as I believe the common vernacular goes :)

Just a matter of time before a positive update on operations. With a new CEO in place Crystal Amber are not buying for the fun of it. All bad news already priced in, significant upside from current levels.

"DES reverse miracle of turning oil to water" This brings back memories,i too was invested there, the share was always known for the oily penguins washed up rumours at the time, total tripe but amazingly believable at the time lol if someone could correct me if im wrong but are DES the reason i got Rockhopper shares in the very bottom of my draw? HUR my second biggest (paper) loss ever ,not selling now, in my PF of around 18 funds and equity (bottom draw aside)they rank around 16th of importance to me at this moment in time, but it fing hurts all the same GLA

agnabeya - "...but I cannot believe both RPS and dr Trice got their sums so wrong." I couldn't agree more. And therein lies the bull case. Still watching and waiting though. I suspect disillusionment is not yet complete. It'll feel strange to make a hefty profit next time around on a 3p share price having taken a massive hit on selling at, on average, around 11p.

Aye agna, lots of peeps lost a lump during the DES reverse miracle of turning oil to water, me included. Well done for dipping out in time, this game is like the film "Sliding Doors", just more about luck these days.

Thank you laserdisc for your reply and info to my original question re well 7 z. i note that the water cut is 57% before shutting in. i had one poster renowned for their negativity say that it was watered out, which i presume meant that the water cut was 100% so 57% is hardly watered out but is in fact very commercial.

Thanks for the indepth reply. I know exactly what you have said is true. I am well researched here for years. That wasn't what i was responding to though. I am in here for 89k pounds which i have written off in my head. Biggest trading loss i have ever made. I don't watch the share price much now as far too much recovery needed for me and too deep to sell. All that is my fault, too close and too emotional. The point being, if i was a new invester i would not take a punt. I would invest else where with just as high a reward if not more but with less risk. Sinse i stopped putting time ans effort into HUR i have clawed back my losses else where and more.Unless you are trading these of course it's different.

I’m still buying at these prices-reducing my average quite substantially. I would not consider selling at these levels-as it wouldn’t be worth it. I still have faith it will rise. The lower my average-the more quickly I’m back in profit. Got some more today. GLA

soldier. Hur has not delivered its potential. However, It has cash, producing 14,500 BOPD, Lincoln on wings, more data and better understanding, a large area yet to be explored, cash generative, a bond due in mid 2022 that could be re-financed...ok there are uncertainties, but at this price Hur is surely a punt unless well 6 waters out (which does not seem likely anytime soon). I think one has to look at the current situation, and get over the shock of the downgrade (which I think was on a worst case scenario) What hur do not have is 1bn, 2bn or 3bn of debt in this low oil price environ. You might be right if well 6 is flooded out, you will be wrong if well 6 stabilizes and the area it is drawing from is being replenished (possibly from a much wider area than previously thought...after all they did not expect the relationship between well 6 and 7z) at a sustainable rate. I suggest that you re-visit the latest presentation, and await the completion of tech review, and forward plan. Perhaps Hur drilled too deep...

Good entry point would be .01 pence. Can't get much lower. This is one big nightmare share for me. Might look back in five years and see if i can get a five back from the 89k investment. If i were new here, sorry to say but would avoid at all cost.

I thought ARCM were closing their short...that was before recent news. Have they opened another short. Incidentally what do people think would be a good entry to PMO given current share price represents 5.88% of the new entity. A Biden victory I reckon will see oil go above 45 and start an upward trend. Why? a) Democrats will not be so supportive of US shale, and will redirect US towards clean energy (other parts of the world will carry on, but supply will decrease) b) There will be a tendency towards greater international co-operation thus reducing the uncertainty that trumps approach has created. c) there is likely to be efforts to boost aggregate demand along Keynesian lines.

scaleyman i have diary for next tanker watch to start looking from around 11th Nov that would be based on 13100 per day we are towards 400,000 bbls on AM at that time. i reckon they certainly offloaded 480000 on the last collection of 11th October. This is a realistic guide, of course could have been more, max would have been 600000

Steel; 'Premier Oil (PMO) is the most shorted stock in the UK, appearing in the top most shorted list for the first time since September. Hong Kong hedge fund Asia Research and Capital Management (ARCM) took a 17% short position in Premier in July, but did not disclose this to the Financial Conduct Authority until Friday 6 December. ARCM’s short position in Premier is worth c £130m, making it the biggest short in UK history. The hedge fund’s short position is most likely a hedge against its debt holding in Premier, as investors have been cautious of debt piles of struggling oil companies, including peers such as Tullow. Currently, Premier’s LTM net debt is $2.4bn, representing a 2.5x net debt to EBITDA ratio and a 33% increase from FY18.' From Edison website
